I came here for a bite to eat and to see the comedy acts. The food was a little disappointing, I had the Haloumi salad and it was mostly bitter frisée type lettuce, so I didn't eat much of it. My date had the burger and he really enjoyed that, so I will switch next time! The four different comedians... More

The atmosphere was great and the room used for the gig was really nice. it was intimate but not confining. drinks were expensive, I think i payed upwards of £5 for a pint, bearing in mind this runs as a pun too..

One of London's oldest and best comedy clubs. The comedy takes place in a large pub room conveniently located just a short walk from Balham tube. On my most recent trip all the acts were absolutely hilarious, but the definite highlight was Andrew Maxwell who absolutely blew the roof off!

Having visited this venue on at least a dozen occasions over a decade, I can safely say you are more likely than not to have a great night. Tonight, after a painfully funny night (that's a good thing!), my group had a lengthy debate about how hard it is to say whether a comedy night is good/bad, it's a totally... More

Arriving at the Bedford for a night of comedy, we were expecting a lot. Instead it turned into a night of boredom. Truly the worst comedians I've ever seen! I will never return, nor recommend to anyone with a brain! Save your money and go elsewhere!

I booked two tickets online which cost over £35 with the booking fee. This turned out to be poor value. We were given seats on the balcony around a tiny table pushed up to the balcony rail and the small wooden fold up chairs were almost laughable. I was amazed to learn these were tables for four people so when... More

Went here with 2 friends this past weekend, Tickets are £14 - £16. We had 4 comedians who all varied quite a bit, but were all good. There were some drunk people shouting out when the first two comedians were on (not heckling, just disruptive nonsense) but they were asked to leave which was good. Seating is dished out, we... Got tickets for my wife and I for the 24th june, had a great night out, Milton Jones headlining and Stephen K Amos made a surprise appearance to test out new material. A great little venue and a very funny night! Top tip, get there early, seating reservations are dished out randomly before you arrive. Our table was upstairs but... More
