An awful place,
Such a shame it’s nice inside but the landlord is unbareably aggressive stamping around with his security guard shouting at people and the staff aren’t great, I used to go there with friends but we gave up in the end.
Read some of the negative feedback and can only assume those people visited the wrong place. It is a little gem in the middle of Mayfair. Stumbled across it on my way from shopping. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing menu of either traditional English or...More
I tried to get a table at the Hatchets pub, no tables @ 6:30pm, I stumbled upon the Ye Grapes and how glad was I that I did.
Nipped upstairs to be greeted by a lovely Thai lady who offered me the option of authentic...More
Met with family here in a little gem off of busy Picadilly. Good service and value not bad for the area. Didn't get a chance to taste the food but would certainly come back. Would be lovely in the summer.
Ye Grapes is a well know typical English pub in the heart of Mayfair , its authentic with lots of character , and this cosy pub is hiding a secret restaurant upstairs which serves delicious traditional food and the best Thai curry you will find...More
I’ve been here several times, always for drinks before dinner. It can get pretty busy at rush hour. But really top notch. I’m told their food is also very good. In the attached photo that’s Ye Grape on a Wednesday evening. At the end of...More
We had a rugby tour reunion there 21 Sept, beers downstairs then a fantastic lunch upstairs, all the classic dishes fish cakes, dim sum , tom yum soup, followed by red and green chicken curry - it was outstanding !!! No fancy anything just GREAT...More
This is a great little find of a pub, it is full of locals and the prices are very reasonable. The area it is in Shepherds Market is lovely a there is a few only local run pubs amongst it and places to eat.
We had drinks here. It was very nice and the bar staff were all very efficient and friendly.
Nice large gin and tonic glasses - like small goldfish bowls!!!
Tucked away in shepherds market it is quaint and traditional.
Well worth a visit
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even
if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
