Bar staff were friendly and helpful but having to apologise far too often for things not available. Guess they made their money from the tour people that came in. Didn't seem to make anything of it's "dodgy" East End past or even "traditional pub" that...More

Great east end pub with loads of character and history from the notorious Kray twins. Friendly vibe with great staff. A large selection of beers and spirits and a huge beer garden. Easily located from the tube.

From the outside, it looks like any other run down high street pub In fact, it didn't look open or inviting But once you're in, it's a cozy establishment, steeped in criminal folk lore The main draw is it's large beer garden with plenty of...More

The Blind Beggar pub was built in 1894 on the site of an inn which had been established before 1654, and takes its name from the legend of Henry de Montfort. The pub is best known for it being the pub where Ronnie Kray's murdered...More

First time here in 10 years and wasnt great, staff were friendly, but the place does need a paint job, toilets were disgusting and for a pub with so much history it was a bit of a let down

The pub has been turned from a traditional east end boozer to an attempt at a Gastro Pub, and it doesn't quite succeed in either. I imagine most people visit because of the links to the notorious Kray twins, and there is one picture of...More

Called in today just after opening. Gents urinals were full of urine. Staff weren't interested in letting us watch football on the tv, it took 15min for them to get the tv working. Decided to leave and eat elsewhere. Will not be back. There are...More

They've laid laminate flooring down, place looks like a transport cafe now rather than a London Boozer. Could be so much better, we travelled across London to have a pint in there & were disappointed, to say the least.
