Took my wife on her First Birthday in London after marriage..... Its became a milestone for her to remember the visit as a wonderful visit for her life....she was amazed despite seeing the eye on pictures and on internet, she enjoyed a lot... And she also like the 4d movie before the London eye flight which amazed us a lot

The London Eye that located in th heart of main city along the river is the most beautiful thing to do here. The view from ferris wheel is absulutely fantastic.

I had heard much about the London Eye, so made it a point to take a ride during my most recent trip to London. The line to buy tickets was quite long and I purchased a combo ticket, horribly overpriced, that allowed a trip on a ferry as well as the Eye. I would most definitely purchase in advance so... More

Was bought tickets for the London Eye as a gift. I'm not fond of heights so wasn't really looking forward to it. But I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely do it again. We only queued for 10 minutes which was good compared to some of the reviews. The pod wasn't overcrowded

Fantastic attraction my 5 year old was so excited, we didn't have to wait to long which was great. If going on more than one attraction works out better to buy in bulk at ticket office.

Whilst there are higher viewing options in central London (eg the Shard etc) this a great experience at an iconic location. I was given a champagne flight experience voucher as a present so we prebooked for a 6pm slot and did not have to queue outside at all. We waited at the priority desk indoors by the ticket office with... More

When I last visited London, I went to the Shard's observatory, which I loved. However, the London Eye gives you a unique perspective of the city that no still edifice can replicate. Yes it's touristy, but in the end we are all tourists!

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
