The staff here having always been great! I've been taking my daughter over the past few years and have had private lessons with the amazing instructor who is Kerrie-Ann. She has always been really friendly and a great instructor and made the experience of ice skating much more enjoyable. The rink is always clean and good fun! The food and... More

I have been skating at Queens for almost 2 years. When I first started out I tried to learn by myself using instinct, which was a terrible idea and I picked up a lot of bad habits. Luckily I managed to get a really good ice skating instructor called Emma Murphy who managed to make massive strides in getting an... More

My daughter has just started one-to-one coaching with the splendid Susan Best, and after an hour on the ice demolishes a perfect bacon bap while I try to fool myself by limiting my Sunday breakfast to a smoothie. My choice is always the celery, mint, avocado and apple juice - looks like pond water, tastes heavenly. What I love about... More

Awful management. Rude woman on the phone. Expensive. Saw mice run out the kitchen. Place is a joke, no wonder is empty. Someone needs to show these people how to run a business.

The new look Skate Dine and Bowl is a huge improvement. New seating and menus together with helpful and friendly staff combine to add greatly to this much loved ice rink. The bowling area is all new and has the most up to date equipment. A new ice surface has been laid on the rink and is being kept in... More

I work for a children's charity and we had a young girl who had wished for an ice skating party with her friends. Emma at Queens could not have been more helpful! From enduring the numerous phone calls from myself, to even counting the number of stairs that our child would have to make it down! On the day the... More

Hi JillDowning, Thank you for taking the time to leave this fantastic review. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome you to Queens and I personally had the pleasure of seeing the look on Hamsa's face when she was taken on to the ice with her friends. We would love to work with you again and if there is anything... More

Dear MargarethCook, I believe this is the second time you have posted such a review on this site and I am concerned that you have such strong feelings that are clearly being directed at just one person. In the interests of removing what is currently a tone of bullying I would request that you please email me personally, andy@queensiceandbowl.co.uk so... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
