I started visiting this gym on a day pass basis - I must say that every visit was somewhat disappointing. The staff are rather rude and unhelpful (when they are not sitting having a drink or chatting). The cardio area is ok but the weights part is far too small. The pool is under refurb at the time of writing... More

If you're a soccer lover, especially Chelsea FC, you should visit at least once. The stadium tour is interesting and good to take pictures as memorabilia -especially in the changing room.

A soulless place on so many levels. The staff slope around telling off both adults and children unnecessarily. It seems they like to make life difficult for their customers. It's a typical dysfunctional ex public sector facility. The buck is always passed and there's a high turnover of staff and no one takes responsibility. Depressing. Avoid.

I love this gym. I was previously a member at LA Fitness South Kensington (LAX)- I prefer this one hands down. The staff here are friendly, helpful and accommodating. the gym facilities are great- each treadmill/ cross-trainer has a TV/ access to the internet, there are power plats/ weights, rowing machines etc. The swimming pool is good too- although it... Me and my partner have just joined and are throughly enjoying all the facilities available for members! We have been both the gym and swimming - although a membership allows you to go to classes/other activities which look really good. Staff appear friendly and most of them helpful. Only down side is going to the swimming pool when children's lessons... More

The swimming pool water is rarely clear. Yesterday I was told one of the cleaning pumps was broken three days ago and still not fixed! Water is usually murky and swimming for me is unpleasant in this local pool. Staff need to pay attention to water quality and ensure clarity and not just test for amount of chlorine!

The staff at this gym is extremely rude. The gym closes at 10pm, they don't allow entry after 9:30pm. I literally arrived at 9:29pm and they would not let me in (even though I live down the street and workout there 3-4 days a week). Not only that, but they were extremely rude to me. A "there's no way we... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
