For me there is nothing better, when opportunity permits, than to travel through Westminster and slowly take in and indeed examine each of the iconic edifices for which the city is known and about which it can be so proud. This is a perfect example...More

If you watch royal events, have seen the queens care driving through on the way to the palace - this is a piece of architecture that lives up to what you imagine! Leading into the beautiful mall down to the palace, this is one of...More

This neoclassical style arch was built in 1912 and is situated at the end of the Mall road near Trafalgar Square in central London. It was designed by Aston Webb and adjoins the Old Admiralty Building (1726), the former Royal Navy HQ & official residence...More

You MUST see this impressive building on your way in or away from Trafalgar Square. This area is impossible to get a "clean" photo as it is always jam packed with traffic.

Though not necessarily impressive in its own right, this arch acts as a true portal as one moves from busy Trafalgar Square to the more peaceful Mall. Perhaps the best way to leave the Square.

The arch has traffic driving through it, so don't expect to see it without obstructions. Right near Trafalgar Square.

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,

Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which

a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
