Saw Tom Robinson at pizza express in Holborn Good performance and good ambiance (no doubt modelled on Ronnie Scott’s) but food nothing special and expensive as was the drink so evening turned out more expensive than anticipated

My friend had a gluten free pizza, which she enjoyed, and a glass of rum punch. She thought the rum punch was particularly good. Because I am trying to eat healthily, I opted for a leggera superfood salad, with chicken as an extra. The salad...More

Shakatak were brilliant but thin and crispy pizza was stodgy and the lasagne was lacking anything solid - very runny. Savignon Blanc was good.

Do not get the "alcove" seating if a) you want a view of who is on stage and b) the artist is very much engaged with the audience in terms of banter etc., because you will most certainly feel lost.
