This pub is my local. The staff are incredibly friendly, good range of beers and the food is very good quality. Personally I think this pub is good value. Very highly recommend.

Thanks for the review CrystalPower! I'm really sorry that our veggie roast wasn't up to scratch, it's usually one of our best dishes. I hope we see you back here soon so our chef can show you how good the food usually is!

Relatively quiet on a damp Saturday for lunch; the perfect cosy retreat after an exhibition at the Barbican Centre, with friendly staff, well-served real ale and a very good 'pub grub' menu. Great layout and decor for a late Victorian London pub.
