Walking much of the South Bank last week, we chanced upon Gabriel's Wharf. What a lovely place; independent speciality shops, bars and great value cafes. A super, open central area, views over The Thames. A delight!

This is a lovely secluded area of the Southbank that is tucked away from the hussle and bustle of the mainstream areas but is well worth a visit just to see the little unique shops and restaurants

We loved this little corner of London with its cute, independent shops and restaurants. There are some great areas to do some photography of the city across the river. A worth-while side trip!

We walked along the river and saw the wharf. Had a walk round - interesting shops - decided to have our lunch there - we had an excellent duck pate - the most generous portion of pate I have ever had. As we knew we...More

On the South Bank of the Thames, near the ITV Studios, you'll find Gabriel's Wharf, which is an eclectic mix of eateries and independent shops. Why not treat yourself to a pie from Pieminster and book onto a cycling tour to burn off the calories...More

Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a
thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National
