- Simon R4 contributionsGOOD VIEW FROM UPPER TIER FOR £11I decided to try for carabao cup tkts for arsenal match as been meaning to go to the new stadium as premiership prices are too dear. Its hard in the dark trying to wind your way from stratford station but i just followed the fans as you could see stadium in distance. its about 15 mins walk to ground then depending on your stand a bit longer to entrances. its like wembley but in the east! plenty of food outlets outside ground and more inside. The tickets were £11 OAP and even £11 adult where I sat so a bargain for key game like that. Its a bit of a polava filling out registration online just to get tkts but I persevered. Knowing they would go quickly at that price for london opponents i tried on the general sale day and spent some time looking at seating plan. its not very easy to find prices u want as it depends where u sit. not knowing the ground this took some time and you hover over a stand and see what prices they charge for each block! As its in bands it doesnt say which stand or even what stand u are looking at until you book it! i managed to find the £11 seats in the bobby moore stand which is behind 1 goal. I got aisle seat 15 rows up in upper tier by corner flag well under cover! i expected by roof at those prices so well happy as its about 40 rows to roof! you had a good view of far goal being high up. I would not recommend any further behind goal than corner flags as bobby moore stand upper is so far from pitch u may as well be at home or pub! this is because lower tier has a bar area behind seats which sets the upper so far back as its not directly above lower tier like most grounds. good game and strong squads plenty of goals 3-1 and 60,000 as u would expect. even a few school parties came to the match. overall an enjoyable first trip and would recommend for either cup games if priced like this match. the pricing system is extensive on website with 4 categories for games with complicated banding system. Extensive review hope this helps with first time visitors. living in west london I found it quite easy to get home 90 mins. took about 30 mins staggered to get to stratford station as stewards delay the crowds but it was well managed. even got elizabeth line to bond street which was quick.Visited November 2023Travelled soloWritten 15 November 2023
- GilagolfPetaling Jaya, Malaysia137 contributionsModern oval athletics stadium, lacks character of traditional groundsWe were looking forward to West Ham stadium . It seems impressive on the outside but the entire stadium seems to lack the character of a football stadium. That’s because it’s an athletics stadium as well therefore the angles and edges we see if traditional grounds are not there. It’s an oval stadium, modern. The disappointment was that the shop was closed on 27th December. Most of the stadium stores were already opened so to come all the way and not access the store was disappointing.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 29 December 2023
- OnAir26100851742London, United Kingdom1 contributionTour guide was king of coolDid a tour of the stadium with my mate (who's a hammer thru and thru). Can honestly say it was the best London stadium tour I've ever been on. Lawrence the tour guide knew loads about the history of the club, Kurt Zouma, and the grass. And he was great craic. Ended up going for a pint with him after. Needed more photos of Mark Noble though.Visited February 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 18 February 2024
- EyekaytooLeverkusen, Germany3,134 contributionsA lovely, modern stadiumWe came here as away supporters for Bayer 04 Leverkusen in their Europa League match against West Ham one evening in April recently. We had walked over to the stadium from a local pub and eventually found the entrance for the away fans. Security was tight but we had no problems gaining entry. Everybody seemed to be very friendly. We had tickets high up in the stands which meant that it was difficult to make out the individual players on the pitch. We were well under the cover of the roof which I think helped to ensure that the roar of the fans was preserved. The atmosphere was fantastic and the whole stadium is modern and simply impressive. And it got even better when we scored a late equalizer goal to ensure passage through to the semi finals of this important competition. All in all, a fantastic stadium combined with a great result.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 24 April 2024
- Shaun LClanfield, United Kingdom2,813 contributionsGood stadium but pricey for event food, drink and souvenirsFor a 54000 capacity stadium the ex Olympic Stadium is easy to navigate, has good views from all seats and has plenty of bars and concessions to get food and drink from. However we visited for the baseball series and maybe it’s just the MLB organisation but the prices for food and to buy souvenirs, jerseys etc were on a different planet. I’m sure that they made millions this weekend but would have been nice to be a bit more value accommodating for the fans.Visited June 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 June 2024
- Ben CHastings, United Kingdom10 contributionsGreat stadium if refreshments a little unorganised.Came to see the Foo Fighters in concert. Really enjoyed the experience. Stadium was set up perfectly for a concert and The Foos were awesome. Stadium itself is great with plenty of facilities although getting drinks was painful. The servers seemed unorganised and didn't look like they knew what they were doing. It wasn't just queuing but once reaching the counter it took ages for them to get the drinks.Visited June 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 24 June 2024
- Sasha Marie1,974 contributionsMassive venue and stadiumHome to West Ham so have been here a LOT. Very good to watch football, although granted it is not close and cosy like some stadiums, you do have a good view pretty much anywhere. It is clean, the atmosphere can be sparse on some games but with a full house it is amazing. Also saw The Weeknd here last year which was good and the sound was amazing but it was a bit too high up for this I think. The downside is the price of food and drink. It is disgusting. Better off drinking elsewhere or sneaking some in as the pints are nearly £10! Very easy venue to get to as well with Stratford just a 10 min walk away.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 June 2024

The stadium is good, the stewards are not so good. When accessing the Disabled Persons Lane because I am registered disabled, as were many of the people travelling down the same lane, the steward then proceeded to say to the man in front of me “where’s your pass? I can see him” referring to the disabled person the man was supporting. I feel that the way in which stewards talk to supporters (or customers as Karren Brady refers to us) should be addressed through training. I find a lot of the stewards at the LS ignorant, incompetent, lazy and rude. There will be a discrimination case against the staff at this rate.
The stadium is impressive, the food and drink outlets are vast but far too expensive, you need to remortgage you’re home for a family day out at the football. The stewards need training in etiquette.

My entire visit exceeded expectations.
Firstly, the outside queuing system was managed really well and there was a full pat down of everyone entering as well as ensuring everybody received the correct wristband for access to their seating areas.
There was plenty of bars and food stalls inside, and the only time I ever had to queue for more than 2 minutes was between bands, which is to be expected. The longest queue was for burgers, but as soon as I changed to the Cornish pasty queue it moved very quickly too, despite how busy it was.
The sound and lighting of the show was brilliant, and definitely up there as one of the best shows I have ever seen.
I was a little disappointed at the end of the evening as when leaving the entire crowd was kept in barriers which prevented us going in the direction we needed, and when I was able to get out of the crowd heading to the station (as I did not need to get on a train), one of the security women shoved me and told me that I needed to go to the station anyway - very strange!

My husband and I went to see Monster Jam yesterday and it was so terribly organised that we will never go there again. 1) no road signs anywhere to find the stadium. 2) shocking queues going in, terribly organised, again no signs or explanations. 3) we had purchased more expensive tickets to attend the “pit party”, no signs to the party and we asked several staff memes and nobody had a clue. 4) we were not advised that the pit party will end at 1pm therefore we only managed to get up close with one of the trucks, and we were delayed getting in due to lack of signage, and the queues. 5) no lifts available for disable people or buggies, I have mobility issues and had to do 4 flights of stairs. 6) when coming out of the stadium there is one main exit opposite Westfield Shopping centre and the stadium staff had to use stop and go sign to handle the huge crowds, again badly organised, everyone wandering what was happening. 7) food stands didn’t open until 1pm causing horrendous queues as snow started at 2pm. There is more I could mention but these are the key points for me. Never again.

It's not a Football Stadium. That's what we were there for!
It is a great Stadium but not to watch football. there as an away fan . We know West ham Owners cheated the Government to get it on the cheap but it's a rubbish place to watch football.
The searches before entering the outer rim is a joke . Not only does it cause aggro it is very poor. Then the obnoxious security people "filtering " the away supporters towards the turnstiles are extremely officious.
It's not far from Hackney Wick with it's Craft Beer Bars and "Hip" Cafes.
Then the hike up the stairs to the seating areas are exhausting. Then you've still got more steps up to your seats!
Plus point the seats are comfortable. But of course no away fans sit down!!!

This is a very nice stadium. But it was not built as a soccer stadium and it shows. The seats are very far from the pitch and this seriously takes away from the atmosphere/ experience. On the other hand it is very easy to get good tickets for West Ham matches through the club’s website. If you are visiting London and want to watch an EPL match easily - this is a good option. But if you can go instead to see Tottenham or Arsenal which are much better stadiums.

Being a west ham season ticket holder i am obviously going to give it a pretty decent review however there are a couple of things that need to be addressed one being the dreadful stewarding on match days and the amount of away supporters that manage to get tickets in the home end.
Its a complete joke and the stewards could not care less!
My next gripe is the price of the food and drink which inside the ground is very sub-standard and a ridiculous price .
something else that made me laugh was the advertisement flashing up around the stadium for Heineken zero which you cannot buy at the bars in the stadium ??
I actually drink it which makes it 10 times more annoying .
If you are driving and need to park you can easliy get parked in westfield shopping centre for around a tenner, its a 15 min walk to the stadium from there . Try to get to the ground around 30mins to 40mins before kick off as there are massive queues at the security checkpoints and if it is raining there is no shelter .
My advice is get there early and eat at Westfield .
Come on you irons .

Went to the Hella Mega Tour. What a brilliant day! The stadium is an extremely good venue for gigs. We were standing and the atmosphere was immense. Security and queuing on the way in was well managed, there was free drinking water at multiple points inside the stadium and an extensive range of bars and food outlets (a bit pricey, but it's London and once you're in it's a captive market so to be expected). Really couldn't fault anything and when I think back about the day it just makes me smile

Terrible experience. There is no food to buy, you are not allowed to leave the section you are in and we were not even allowed into the restaurant to buy any food! Additionally, the staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful. If I could give this experience 0, I would do so in a heartbeat. Most terrible customer service I have experienced. Came to the game, thinking I would be able to get any food, instead I am sitting here hungry without any food options. If i was allowed to leave section, I could at least have gone out and buy a burger…

The workers in this stadium did an outstanding job of converting the stadium to a baseball layout for the Cubs vs Cardinals series. The view from our upper deck seats was great and it was a lot of fun with fans from around the world. I recommend seeing this Major League Baseball event next year when it is the Mets vs Phillies.

Genuinely can’t fault anything over the day, as we enjoyed the Diamond League Athletics meeting here.
Our journey to the stadium was painless and well managed by staff overall, who directed us to the correct bridge and then the correct turnstile. I simply passed my phone back through the barriers to each member of the group, who scanned their barcode before doing the same. No queues at the programme kiosk either, where I picked up my free event programme.
Inside, the stadium was as magnificent as it was externally. Again, no queues, with a quick service for Beers (£7.50 per drink was steep but fully expected due to city prices). We had toilets next to our block and our seats were in a fantastic location!
The event itself was brilliant - smoothly run and thoroughly entertaining. Would happily consider another visit next year. The stadium is up there with one of the best i’ve been to - modern, grand and home to a fantastic atmosphere!

Any gluten free food available at the park . Or plain food in Westfield shopping centre please
Written 14 October 2023
Hi Chris,
I visited a few months ago and there were a couple of food trucks on the park however I would suggest going to Westfield for food as they have a decent food court there which probably has outlets with decent allergen procedures in place.
Hope that helps, Richard

Has anyone ever gotten to see the players going on before the game? Do you know where and when the visiting team enters the stadium? Do they say hello to fans?

I imagine that it’s like Twickenham or Wembley but whether American baseball teams are whisked in their coaches into covered covered zones is beyond my experience.

Travelling to stadium 25th June when there may be a rail strike. We live in Milton Keynes, are there any stations we could drive to and pick up a DLR etc direct to Stratford?

I’m also going on the 25/06/2022 and the best option we found was to book a taxi from Gatwick (we staying there Saturday night as flying out the next day) and return that same evening to Gatwick. The train lines are suppose to close quite early and I didn’t want to be stuck in East London after the concert. Enjoy the show :)

Hi I’m looking at buying foo fighter tickets for there show next year, would I be better getting pitch tickets or is seating better ? I’m only 5ft so am worried if I was standing on the pitch I wouldn’t see much.
Also What are the best blocks for seating (nearest to the stage)
Thank you in advance
Written 17 August 2021
I would suggest the stands would be better. From memory, I think blocks 108/109/110 would be best as the stage is at the end where the stage should be in the section 117-127.
