I'm not really sure why this is a destination worthy of having its own review. We did walk down it on our way to see The Mousetrap in the famed st. Martin's theater. It is in a beautiful neighborhood of London.

This is a very small street (almost feels like a side street) It does have a lot of history though as the famed Ivy Restaurant is located here. It is also home to the St Martins Theatre where The Mousetrap is showing. Probably not worth a special visit to. Would probably not taken much notice of the street had we... More

West Street is a small side street off the Charing Cross & Shaftesbury Road intersection. I was recently here for drinks & a bite at Polpo. On this short street you have L'Atelier du Joel Robuchon a lovely Michelin starred French restaurant, The Ivy as well as the wonderful St Martins Theatre where The Mousetrap is showing. A "small but... More

If accessed from Shaftesbury Avenue, by Cambridge Circus, it is not self-evident that it will be worthwhile wandering along this street. But it gets better. You pass Polpo on the left before encountering top-end restaurant L'Atelier De Joel Robuchon with its enticing though pricey carte. The, after the Club at the Ivy one comes to the famous (re-furbished) Ivy itself,... More

It's a short and relatively quiet street in the heart of London's theatre district, between Leicester Square and Covent Garden, close to Shaftesbury Avenue and Seven Dials. The street is not really an attraction in itself but it is notable as the location of 2 West End Theatres (St. Martin's, the home of 'The Mousetrap', and the Ambassadors) and also... More

West Street can be found in the Covent Garden area, very near to the Seven Dial Column. Here you can watch the long-running performance, Mousetrap, at the St. Martin's Theatre. Next door is the Ambassadors Theatre where you can see Stomp. Across the street is the art deco inspired historic restaurant, The Ivy. Further down the street is one of... More
