After many searches on the internet, a visit to the theatres own box office, and many booths selling 'discounted' tickets, we eventually bought 2 tickets to the Saturday matinee performance at the Criterion Theatre. We had previouly seen one of the production companies other plays,...More

And it was. Breathtaking timing. Incredible effects. Really, really funny. Multitalented cast. Great night out.

Was looking forward to seeing "Bank Robbery" but ended up quite disappointed. I was expecting a raucous comedy but in the end found it not very funny. Also the theatre has a lot of very bad seating which made the play hard to see in...More

I love going to the theatre, but found this show quite cheesy. It tried hard to be funny, but didn't quite cut it in my opinion. The cast put a lot of energy into the show which I always appreciate, but it's really not a...More

Went to see a comedy about a bank robbery. The theatre was beautiful, but beware it's a underground theatre so if you choose the stalls then expect stairs. Overall , fantastic and staff very friendly.

A Comedy about a Bank Robbery. An amazing theatre, it really takes you back in time. As for the Play, we could only describe it as witty, fast paced, superb acting by everyone and truly a fantastic evening.

Have been to see 2 plays here, Mr Poppers Penguins at Christmas and yesterday, The Comedy About A Bank Robbery. Both plays were fantastic, very well presented, fantastic fun and seriously good entertainment. The theatre itself is a lovely little place, comfy seats and friendly...More

Love the Criterion, it's a really special theatre with its original Victorian layout and tiles. The comedy about a bank robbery is really fun lots of word play and double entendres good for teens and adults it's a comic and clever piece.

Very entertaining fast paced play. Use of english at its best with plenty of double entendres and a bit of slapstick. Well worth a viewing. Theatre is in good order. Make sure you don’t get pillar seat. Worth paying a bit extra.

Suggest you ring the theatre. They are very helpful and honest about the views from seats.
