If you live in Islington make sure you visit this wonderful free museum. Learnt so much about the history of the area. The exhibits are modern and there are some very interesting objects. Spent about 30 minutes, and then 5 for the exhibition.

Small, well done. Great local/ family history place with the library above for research. Friendly staff. Permanent as well as changing exhibits. Books and postcards for sale

In the basement below the library in St John Street. Good review of the areas that make up modern Islington. Informative displays, good bookshop. Easily missed but well worth a visit.
