Another visit to Mayfair saw us spending some time in the delightful Grosvenor Square. The square is surrounded by a number of elegant buildings and the Embassy of the United States of America which is not such an elegant building. The square itself, is home...More

It's a nice public spot amongst the local embassies, including a well-done 9/11 memorial. What I liked most about it was the walk back to Hyde Park, noting the obvious local wealth of the neighbors, making for sites I rarely have seen in big cities.

Grosvenor Square and Grosvenor gardens is a beautiful area. A lot of construction going on, but that really didn't detract from the peaceful gardens and homes. Went by Grosvenor Hotel. Definitely d money in this part of town!

It is lovely to walk through Mayfair and also pass Grosvenor Square. A lot of construction work going on at the moment. Nice little park with statues of previous presidents and a view of the American embassy.
