I did the 4 hour discover London tour with my partner! It was amazing! The two guides were great and the whole experience was great fun. You will get cold during the winter so wear extra clothing and take spare gloves, waterproof ones will better for splashes. Half way through the 4 hour tour we stopped under London Bridge and... We recently did the Big Ben by night experience and it was absolutely brilliant. The men who greet you are very friendly and make you feel completely at ease. Waterproofs are provided as is the rest of the necessary equipment. The guys there also get you in and out of the water so little risk of you getting wet. The... More

This was a birthday present for Lovely Daddy - and was clearly a popular couples gift. Starting in Kensington I was a little bit of a hick when faced with two chippy geezers who couldn't really be bothered with my shock at the parking prices - we paid £14 for 4 hours and you have to have this in coins.... I have use kayaking London over 30 times for groups ranging between 20 and 30. On every occasion I have used them they have provided excellent equipment and tuition. When on the water the guides not only assist you with your kayaking they also provide some local knowledge that is water-based or viewed from the water.. Where we have a... More

Booked this trip for August for 3 friends but it was cancelled at the last minute, transferred to the October tour. Sadly a friend was injured prior to the trip and they gladly gave a partial refund which was excellent. The email confirmation stated to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time but this was not enough; we arrived... More

This was a birthday present for my husband. The instructions at booking were clear and we were greeted by the v friendly and entertaining Harry on our arrival. Changing facilities were clean and after a safety briefing we were on the water! Harry and Olaf were knowledgable guides on the river; keeping the 7 kayaks together, guiding us through the... More

My husband and I had a great time doing the Big Ben and back tour. The guides were great and gave us fun facts about sites along the way. Parts of the journey were a bit tiring which is to be expected but all in all a great day and highly recommended!

Nice evening in Grand union canal. We enjoyed kayaking in urban London (despite the green stuff in some parts of the route..)

I've organised over 35 group events for AAA London Group and we've had some great evening kayaking down the Thames The team lead by Harry are professional and great/fun to work with. There's a good pub just down the road for post kayak drinks

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
