Neighbourhood: Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.

Pretty Woman
Mar. 2020
Came to watch Pretty Woman. Show was really good, admittedly the stage props were quite poor but the singing and performance made up for that. The theatre is quite old and we were in the Grand Circle which was a long way to the top, quite steep stair case leading down to your seats.

First visit here to see Pretty woman with my wife. Nice theatre, lot of art deco features, however stair cases very steep and grand circle is very steep. Views however were excellent as was the show, worth a visit if a good show is on but would say is not one of the nicest west end theatres

Brilliant brilliant brilliant. If you loved the film you'll love the musical. Perfect 'mother and daughter day out. Just off the piccadilly line. Loads of fast food eateries. The theatre accommodated me so well with crutches and a my broken ankle. We will definitely go again. You're right in the heart of London and theatre land with this show.

Annual show in London
Mar. 2020 • Couples
This year was a joint decision on which show to watch on the West End.

Pretty Woman it was.

Firstly the venue:.. wonderful!
The theatre has lots of space and the seats aren’t cramped at all. We sat 4th row from front in the centre and had a fantastic vue.

Now for the show:.. very good.
As im a big fan of the movie I had high expectations for this and maybe a couple of doubts of will I enjoy this completely? And happily I can say I did.
The cast were great, the songs were sang on point and stage sets were brilliant and really set the tone for each number.
I will say that even though the main characters were great I feel the best performer who stole many of the scenes was the hotel manager/other characters. He was in my opinion the stand of performer.

Also with this show we booked the Champagne Experience in which upon the interval we were treated to a glass of champagne and some nibbles and ice cream in a quaint little alcove all to ourselves. This really was a nice surprise and made the night that little bit more special.

Go see it!!

And if your wondering,.. Cat does say “Cinder#%$€¥&rella”.

Well kept historic theatre

I love the old theatres. The history and atmosphere is amazing. It was clean and the seats were brilliant. Upper Circle I think is better than stalls. Of course the seats are small so maybe a little uncomfortable for taller or heavier adults.

We treated ourselves to a visit to the show and the Ambassador Lounge. The experience from start to finish was really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and efficient, the food and drinks very tasty, the theatre itself was a perfect backdrop and the show was excellent. A must see show

Great theatre - poor show (Pretty Woman)

The theatre is beautiful with good seating all round. Minimal toilets - long queues. Small bars (ridiculous cramming in).

A beautiful theatre with great views from all around. Easy to get drinks from the Gin & wine bar upstairs and half time drinks pre-ordered without problem. If you love the film Pretty Woman then you will love the stage show. just a great fun evening.
