First time visiting The Roundhouse (to see Michael Palin and Terry Gilliam interviewed by Sanjeev Bhaskar). The box office staff were very friendly and helpful. The seating was quite comfortable surprisingly and the actual arena itself is pretty spectacular. From what I could tell, you would get a pretty good view of the stage from almost any seat. The staff... More

Top venue. Great band. Wonderful acoustics and I sat for the first time rather than stand and really enjoyed the experience too. One of my favourite venues in town.

Great place with lots of characteristic features still in place. Madness on stage as good & funny as they ever been. Hats off to the lads for bringing this much entertainment & energy after all these years. Could be considered a home game for them as most had played at the Roundhouse since the 80's! Glad I was part of... More

I went to watch The Mad Hatter's Tea Party here last week with my daughters. What an amazing experience. One reviewer complained that the show was too long. I totally disagree, I went with a 15 and 16 year old and they absolutely loved it. It was one of the best dance shows I have ever seen. The venue was... More

The Roundhouse venue has never disappointed us, less so on our 5th visit here, this time to watch The Mad Hatter's Tea Party on Friday 13/01/17. Billed as a hip hop musical/theatre production, it was in parts, but we also welcomed the soul, funk & dance music that blasted out. A truly enjoyable experience. Amazing moves and grooves from the... More

This is am amazing building, full of history and culture. I saw a Hip Hop show here this time but I have also seen live music and the space lends itself well to any performance. There is an interesting display up about the history of the venue and a cool outside bar area on the second level. Brilliant live performance... More

Although getting in and out of the venue was longwinded, once in it's a fabulous building with great sound. Good view from almost every position as it's er well... round! Enjoyed my visit and will be back. Alot of the money made goes back into the venue and young creatives, an incentive for 11-25 year olds to get involved in... More

The Roundhouse is really easy to reach by Tube, just 100 yards from Chalk Farm station (Northern Line). It's clean and modern inside and they have kept some of the original ironwork, which adds ambience. However, Zoonation's Mad Hatter's Tea Party was a disappointment. Although high in energy and with a superb live band, the first half was tedious and... More

I've been stung in the past you see. 'Mad Hatters Tea Party' said herself. 'Hip hop dance' she added. My mortal dread was confirmed by the legions of parents hauling unsuspecting sub-10's along Chalk Farm Road to watch some light-hearted, happy smiley prancing about. And indeed for the first 10 minutes or so that was the plot that almost had... More

Fantastic hip hop theatre show by Zoonation, great venue and view from all seats, lots of places to eat and shop pre-show and 6-7 min walk from station
