I rarely leave reviews, but will make an exception for a day-long tour led by Tom on a hot day in late June. We visited Stonehenge, Bath for lunch, and Avebury--which was the real payoff. It was a small group, with an easy-to-find pick-up point...More

What an amazing tour!!! We had a group of 13 and got a private tour of Stonehenge, Bath, and Avebury with a very knowledgeable archeologist. He was engaging and explained everything in great detail Everyone in our group from the adults to the small children...More

I wanted this tour as soon as I read about it; the small group size was a must-have for me and the fact that it was led by an archaeologist guaranteed that it would be more than your typical tour. I had the most incredible...More

It was a perfect way to discover Stonehenge and Avebury. Our guide archaeologist Kim made the tour very interesting, intriguing and intimate. She loves her profession, and was not afraid to tell how little is known about the stone circles. In fact it's a plus...More

Tom did an excellent job giving us all the insight and history behind the monuments. It is truly amazing to realize how much more is there beyond the "grotesque" Stonehenge. Nice small group tour keeps things moving, allows for seeing more and learning more. Well...More

Took kids on Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury trip. Most tours involve bug groups, but this was pleasantly small. Good guide. Stonehenge weird and fascinating; Bath beautiful town I had never seen and loved. Very nice trip.

This is a super late review from summer 2017, but just know this is the only tour that you should book to see Stonehenge. Took this impressive tour to Stonehenge, Bath and Avebury with husband and kids (10 and 14 years old). We should have...More

We took this tour towards the end of our stay and it was definitely the high point of the trip. These are small group tours, well organized, so you can have a lot of interaction with Tom, the tour guide, and the other tour members....More

We were on the tour with Tom Lyon and George. We were impressed with both leaders approach to safety and the well being of their customers. It is almost impossible to resist Tom’s enthusiasm to share his passion for - and his knowledge of the...More

South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

I basically agree with the two other responders. For me, Stonehenge was the first priority, and then Avebury (great together). Bath was not special for me, but I was looking to see the prehistoric, so that was my focus... More
