My favourite shopping street in London. Has all the great names and is lovely and wide so you don’t feel hemmed in. Currently it is quite busy as it’s the lead up to Christmas and the famous Hamleys looks amazing
Very busy when we went!!! Visited in December and it was all decorated lovely for Christmas. Very clean despite the lack of bins!! Very Christmassy with lots of people about doing their shopping. Can be a bit awkward getting a buggy through the crowds though....More
We were here to visit the Winter Wonderland and also to see the ‘ Flying Angels’ Christmas lights which were beautiful at night. Plenty of high end shops and middle of the range shops also. The streets are very busy especially as it’s Christmas time.

We walked the length of Regent Street but with it being Christmas the masses spoilt the occasion, couldn't get back to the Hotel quick enough.

Hi the stores open around 9 except sunday open later about 11 due to trading laws. Most shops are still open at 8 and 9 in the week. All the cafes and restaurants open later. You are in theatre land so restaurants cater for theatre goers before and after the shows. There are wonderful kiosks dotted around where you can pick up ice creams and cold drinks on Regent Street and around Piccadilly. Enjoy your time in our wonderful city.
