Proud Camden is located in the 200-year-old Grad II Listed Horse Hospital in the Stables Market, Camden. Adorned by images of rock royalty throughout, the venue has been systematically designed and painstakingly restored. It retains many of the beautiful and genuine features, including the original stables that once housed the horses that were injured pulling canal barges.Throughout the day Proud Camden is the ideal place to come and relax with your mates. Hot beverages and food are available, and each stable has HD flat screen TVs with Sky Sports and Movie channels. If that doesn't tickle your fancy, we also have a vast selection of DVDs and PS3 video games you can choose from or why not be a rockstar with Xbox Rock Band. Click here for PDF of 7 different stables! The venue is transformed into a live music venue and bar from 7.30pm, with each night hosting the best eclectic music in North London.Known for its commitment to programming the very best live music- Peter Doherty, Dizzee Rascal, The Kooks, Stereophonics, and Johnny Borrell all have played intimate sets. The bar has developed a cult following and become a celebrity hang-out, with regulars Amy Winehouse, Sadie Frost, Carl Barat, and The Arctic Monkeys.Recent performers at the venue have included: Dirty Pretty Things, Lethal Bizzle, The Enemy, Lykke Li, Vivian Girls, Kissy Sell Out, Black Lips, Manchester Orchestra and I Blame Coco with thanks to London' best industry club nights.Proud's new outdoor terraced café also means Proud guests can now escape indoor gig madness to relax and enjoy the sun with drinks and food served all day. Originally an abandoned and dilapidated market shop, the glass-walled space has been redecorated to do justice to the café's epic views of the notorious Camden streets.

I travelled for three hours to see a gig with my friends who were the headline act. The staff were terrible, when we arrived we were on the guest list and they were really rude and unhelpful when we asked about the event. We were then watching the other acts, the night seemed okay, the crowd were good, bartenders were... More

Nice outdoor smoking area with faux grass and heated lamps and not just a back alley like other venues. There was a 3rd room but wasnt open that night. So yer go... More

Went here for a absent Kelly presents gig and I must say it's a amazing venue, both lighting and sound were perfect to work with and I look forward to coming back soon.

I arranged to hold my best friends hen-do at Proud Camden and not only were the stables falsely advertised but we didn't get the food or drink we ordered. I've called and emailed to complain and I am being ignored by every single contact I can find. DO NOT book the stables

Went on a Friday night. Student union music policy. Rubbish drinks (no decent beer, gin and tonic without ice or lemon in a plastic cup for £12). Assume their business is propped up by the unsuspecting tourists and stag/hen groups who are sent there as part of a package. Worst club in London. Avoid at all costs.

Claire was a great waitress! And service was amazing! I had a great night, best place to go for a drink on a sunny evening. Brilliant atmosphere!
