Well worth a visit and is close by to Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Downing street, the London Eye and ST James Park. Definitely worth reading about the history of this place before going.

Taking a photo in front of the mounted guards is a must when visiting London. The archway leads through to the parade ground which is also a good place to take some interesting photos. There is also a museum dedicated to the horseguards military unit...More

Great spot for a tourist photo, you can take pics next to the horses. The guards and horses are immaculate. You don't have to pay unless you go in to the museum.

A fun spot to see while in the area. The horses and officers do a Changing of the Guard daily. You can take photos with the horses and doesn’t take much time to see.

Is this actually a Tourist Attraction ? London probably would have at least one thousand buildings that are better and more impressive than thin .. all within a couple of kilometres radius of this Not really impressive from the outside .. nothing beyond average

If visiting St. James Park, you won't be able to miss this place, as it is on the opposite side of the Park from Buckingham palace. The exterior is very beautiful and it contains a rather large courtyard for the horse guard to be on....More

Horse guards is a Grade I listed building in London and is in between Whitehall and horse guards parade. The current building was built in 1753 and is the HQ of army command. This is an excellent building to veiw and also houses the cavalry...More
