While wandering around the West End Theater District, my husband and I discovered that each venue has same-day tickets that sell at a fraction of the box-office price. Most theaters have about 15 seats available, starting at 10:00 each morning. We were easily able to...More

In Picadilly Theater, we went to see this musical. The place was packed! Great performers, dancers, orchestra, choreography.... in fact I loved everything.... the sense of humor, the singer, etc, etc.... And so did everyone.... the whole theater at the end, began to dance.!!!

Amazing value to see a popular play in the West End for about 1/3 the cost of a Broadway play in New York. We bought same-day performance tickets to "Wicked" and saw the cast's 5,000th performance in the Globe Theatre. What a fun experience for...More

There’s nothing like the West End. Broadway comes close, but there is something a little more sophisticated about the West End. An amazing number of beautiful, historic theatres. There are so many plays and musicals going on at any given time that anyone with a...More

Some of the greatest shows to grace the West End are currently in this theatre district and if you're visiting London, it's a rite of passage to go to one! Just be wary, especially those that are expecting the West End to be like Broadway-...More

The School of Rock at the New Theatre and Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre, both shows were outstanding, the kids in school of rock were excellent. Martin Kemp was brilliant but the girls carried the show.

Great show and good seating, even with the discount ticket deal. Staff st the Shaftesbury were great, bar staff were efficient and the sound and style of the theatre were great. Would definitely recommend this show while on London.

I visited The Noel Coward theatre on Saturday 4 August with a friend who has mobility problems. She was particularly keen to meet Aidan Turner after the show as she had heard he meets any fans at the stage door. We enquired at the information...More

My feeling and have to stress purely my feeling is there is nowhere in the world quite like the London West End theatre district, it has a vibe like no other, what else can I say.

The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho
hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a
compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars,
and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red
Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene –
and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping
enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's
greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the

Whilst cabs are easily available London is a safe city and walking around even late at night is not a problem. I accept there are isolated incidents but these are very rare. Street crime generally in the UK is uncommon.
