No trip to London would be complete without walking through the West End theatre district. I loved looking at the old theatres, each of which has its own character, both inside and out as well as its own history. Hopefully, you will get to attend a favorite show. Didn't see a single one that I didn't enjoy.

The theatres here offer so many choices. We saw a show here and after that had dinner, walked around and soaked in the vibrant atmosphere . Had an enjoyable evening.

The West End Theater District is the Broadway of London. It comes alive at night with the bright lights of the theaters along with the many pubs and other places to eat. We saw two shows: Half a Sixpence and The Book of Mormon and enjoyed the experience immensely.

We saw a show in the West End and had a great evening. There are so many options to choose from. We saw Beautiful, which was my sister's choice but one that I ended up really enjoying. I'd recommend it to anyone and enjoyed the fact that I recognized most of the tunes. The district itself is very lively at... More

My favourite place in London. If you are over here, make sure you visit AT LEAST one West End show. Such an exciting part of London and so much to choose from. There's no other thing like this in the world - you won't be disappointed with what London has to offer!

You can't visit London without visiting the West End and taking in a theatre production. It is part of being in London. It comes alive at night.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
