I visited The Prince of Wales Theatre to watch The Book of the Mormon, matinee performance this last Saturday. I had booked the champagne experience to treat myself, and I was looked after by Isabelle, she is a wonderful young lady and a credit to DMT. Jess behind the bar also kept an eye on me, to ensure that I... More

This is a wonderful theatre! Just the right size, wonderful acoustics and not a bad seat in the house.

Was not sure what to expect, but spent the two plus hours crying with laughter, and left with my sides aching. Despite the obvious comedic elements, there is a clear set of messages in this, and not ones which push religion, but show a less reverential take on all religioins. The staging andpreformances wre flawless, and the music good without... More

Venue is excellent, decor is beautiful. . .but the vertical is a bit steep at the top! The staff were very professional. Book of Mormon was hilarious and would definatly reccomend. . .not for the easily offended however!

Saw Book of Mormon and absolutely loved it !!!! Irreverend, bad language, racist and completely lacking in accepted social behaviour. And so incredibly well written and performed. I honestly cried with laughter throughout as did all those near me and this show is not to be missed.

Came with a friend to watch Book of Mormon and it was literally amazing! the best theatre production I've ever been to but definitely not one for the faint hearted! (I found it just as entertaining that during the break people didn't return to their seats!) The theatre itself ensures that there isn't a bad seat in the house and... More

We went to a matinee, which was completely packed out. We sat in the stalls and had a fabulous view. This musical is all action and thoroughly entertaining, it's written in such a way that it is quite kind to everyone in the end, very clever. We laughed from beginning to end, my sides ached! The singing and dancing was... More

Not recommended for those easily offended or those who don't swearing. High energy fun, great acting & singing with hilarious lyrics. A great nights entertainment

Book of Mormon I cannot remember when I laughed so hard or for so long in one evening – much less within three hours! The masterminds that are Trey Parker and Matt Stone of “South Park” and Tony Lopez of “Avenue Q” and “Frozen” combined, is pure unadulterated genius! From the concept of the story to the lyrics of the... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
