I had a couple days of sightseeing and I purchased a day pass at the kiosk and was able to hop on and off while getting around London. The tube stations vary in their spaciousness, cleanliness, and crowds. The platforms are rather small and the...More

The best way to get around London, must buy an oyster card, its very quick and easy to use. Support any tube staff so they don't go on strike, they do deserve a higher wage i think otherwise London will grind to a halt.

You're in London. You're gonna need to use the tube. Period. Buy an oyster card before you go, you can purchase a Visitor Oyster Card. Depending on how long you'll be there for, I'd recommend only putting 10-20 Pounds on it for now, as it...More

Have avoided the Tube in the past because of crowds and it seemed complicated. It is easy and well signed, but does get crowded at times.

The only thing good about the tube is that you can get to A to B within minutes... otherwise it's the worst underground system I've ever used in the world. Over crowded small carriages, lack of space, no air conditioning, grubby, smelly and a very...More

I can't speak more highly of the tube. Being able to use contactless payment means it's easy and cheap to use. You can go just about anywhere and the trains are fast and reliable. You also see all walks of life!

We bought Oyster visitor travel cards online, so had them when we arrived in London. So very easy to get around and we have always felt safe. Trains run very frequently. Geat system.
