Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

It is quite a fancy store in the exclusive area of London - Knightsbridge and it is just up the road from Harrods. The store sells clothes from designers like Jean Paul Gaultier and Stella McCartney. There are a number of floors which are accessible by lifts and escalators. On the top floor there is a bar and place to eat The store was clean and well presented.Visited May 2024Travelled soloWritten 17 May 2024

One is too high! My husband visited the store in January 2019 on a break after receiving some bad news... we entered the store and spoke to a sales person about some perfume. We were intending on going upstairs to get a coffee on the top floor and headed for the escalator. It was then that I saw an older security man hopping around a pillar and signalling to a very tall security guard in a dark suit. The security man followed us up every escalator to the top. It was unreal! So obvious. I am still upset about it. We have Northern Irish accents but have lived in England for 20 years. We weren’t badly dressed and looked reasonably smart but had trainers on the get around in foot.
I always loved HN in Manchester. I guess we were stereotyped possibly because of our Irish accents. I really can’t think of another reason. We continued to go and have our coffee but left after that. I was so dumbstruck. It ruined my whole trip to London. It is the first time in my life I’ve felt like you could be locked up for no reason.

If I could leave a 0 star rating I would.
I bought a coat 3 weeks ago.
It cost over £1,500 and Iv still not got the coat Iv been charged for.
5 customer service assistants have emailed me the same email asking for my phone number which I gave each and everyone of them.
Still no thing has been done.
All Customer service’s say is we have forward’d your number on to Knightsbridge store, who already have my number.
Total shambles, there not bothered about sorting the problem out at all.
Not worth buying anything from HN.
I’m almost sure if Saks and Potts knew the level of service HN don’t give to customers buying there garments they would be horrified.

Having Traveled 250miles to HN Knightsbridge for A Luxury Afternoon Tea which my daughter had bought for me a belated Mothers Day gift purchased direct from the store.
We arrived to be seated in the restaurant which smelled strongly of fish on one of the hottest days of the year , I asked to be moved to the terrace for fresher air . My daughter and I were greated and presented with the menu .....we ordered a cocktail recommended on the ATea menu . I disappeared to the ladies and on my return the cocktail and a pot of tea were sat on the table ......I wondered why the Jasmine tea had arrived the same time as the cocktails.
10 min later our food arrived on a 3 tear cake stand each having our own as my daughter had ordered a vegan AT , by which time my tea had cooled considerably.
On inspection of the food my daughter's sandwich's (three of the fingers )were filled with hummus !!! How appetising and uninspiring, her plain scones which we were told were dairy free and gluten free were the most disgusting things I had ever tasted .
My fruit scones were so over cooked and hard I could have knocked someone out if I had thrown one !!!
The fillings in my sandwiches were so thin it was difficult to guess what was In them or what they tasted off.
The three tiny cakes sat on the top of the cake stand were uninspiring and the one I tasted was synthetic and tasteless .
I have never experienced such a poor Afternoon Tea. I was expecting something much better from such an established company.
I felt very disappointed for my daughter who had wasted her money , I did complain to the restaurant manager who offered us two more cocktails as an apology and he was under the impression that would suffice our poor experience, I had to demand he refunded my daughter her money which he did but not for the full amount she had paid .
He was very condescending which just finished this terrible experience off .
I expected so much much more from Harvey Nichols .

The first thing that stroke me when I entered the department store was how empty it was ! A complete lack of atmosphere.🥵
From outside, the building is nice and it’s well positioned in Knightsbridge.
So you would expect Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge to be busy like the others department stores .
But then you realise quickly why it is so empty .
Staff ignores you , they chat between themselves and do not pay attention to the very few customers they have
I asked a sales assistant where the changing rooms where, he pointed them out without a word .I felt I interrupted his conversation with his colleagues and I was a nuisance.
When I asked if I could get another size for my trouser, the sales assistant looked at me again as if I was asking too much.
Do they actually get training for their job ??
Do they know Harrods, Selfridges who offer brilliant customers services are minutes away and there is choice of department stores in London….

What a disaster menswear is. The basement part has been closed for some time, the coffee shop next to the barbers is closed and the clothes on the LG are suited to a rapper from Brixton. They also sell Boss and Moncler which you can get anywhere.
The staff look disinterested.
It used to be somewhere that catered for all ages that wanted to look good. Boss does not make you look good it makes you feel old, and the rest would make others think you are having a mid life crisis unless you are a teenager.

Stopped for a hot drink in January 2020... as my son has the same name..and we were in London for the day...
Staff were very friendly, efficient and accommodating allowing us to feed Harvey providing a high chair even though we didn’t get the food from them.
Pierre was extremely hospitable as too were the waitresses and all the staff. We left with a couple of items that have been thoroughly enjoyed in the last few weeks and a bag bearing the name.
Looking forward to returning again when we are back in town.
Thanks

Like other reviewers, we were a little shocked at the mens department and also how empty it was of shoppers. Even after perusing the odd ranges on offer for 30 mins we only saw one other shopper in there, which for a Friday seemed very odd.
Not sure it’s somewhere we will be rushing back to to be honest

This store is far quieter than Harrods down the road. It’s nice for a browse but the heating was on such a high temperature that I couldn’t stand being inside for too long with a mask and a scarf.
I note that they now have a burger & lobster restaurant on the top floor which is good to know.

Looked on line as wanted to buy a Gucci bag, this shows they had the item wanted. Happy days.
Visited the store, signage of different floors and departments were very poor. Escalators go up but you have to try to find a working lift or stairs to get back down! Oh and then finally we find the handbag area and an assistant there say ms no we don’t stock Gucci in the shop just online…try Harrods! Lol
(Harrods then got our money).

Staff are bored to death, they have received no training and have no interests in engaging with customers.
On the day we went, the store was virtually empty. No wonder !
The toilets are disgusting, in a very poor state .
We decided to leave and at no point did anyone try to see if we needed advices.
We went to Selfridges , it was busy and within two minutes, we were greeted with a smile .
We bought an amazing Louis Vuitton bag and some Gucci dresses.
So happy we spent our money in Selfridges and not in Harvey Nichols .
