While the quality of the ballet is well-known, the opportunity to eat here - before and during the performance - makes a special evening even more enjoyable. The menu - from which you can select in advance - is well-rounded and offers a modest number of good choices showcasing British food. The wines are excellent, with helpful advice on pairing... More

We have been lucky enough to enjoy opera productions at a number of venues around the World, and have also enjoyed a number of Royal Opera cinema performances, but it was particularly good to return to a live performance having not been to Covent Garden for some years. A great setting, exciting singers at the top of their game plus... More

This was my first ever visit to the Opera House and my first ballet. The opera house was beautifully kept with amazing ceilings and design. The ballet (sleeping beauty) was beyond amazing .I had a small niggle with a group of young girls in the box next to me chatting and hanging over that balcony which spoilt my view at times apart... I went to see Giselle, the ballet. What a stunning theater! Although I was fairly high, and on the left side of the stage, I still had a fairly good view of the performance. I sat on the benches which were pretty comfortable, but with a full theater, it was a bit tight. Don't wait until the last minute to... More

I had never visited the Royal Opera House before, but I am very interested in ballet and decided to book a tour when I was recently staying in London. The tour was very interesting, and our guide was very knowledgable The tour laster approximately 1.5 hours, and we saw some of the dancers rehearsing, and heard the opera being rehearsed... More

Took my wife for her birthday to see Ballet The Sleeping Beauty. Never been to the Ballet before but it was amazing. Not a cheap date but I was transfixed and will be back. Preordered drinks and olives for the second interval and it all worked like clockwork in an amazing setting. Will be back.

5th visit for the Ballet (The Sleeping Beauty) the ballet was amazing loved every minute apart from the 2 old ladies chatting the whole way through (ROH fault) Had ordered food and drinks for the 1st interval online (checked email it was correct), wasted 5 min looking for our order, then asked a member of staff to be told they... Just the most amazing performance but then it always is. Such grace and beauty to transport into a different world. This is my annual birthday treat and we always sit the the first three rows of the stalls. A high price and if in row c invariably thwarted in part by someone's head and I am quite tall. It would... This is my all time favourite night out! It is sheer magical escapism. The building is so beautiful and the productions here are first class. I particularly enjoy the ballet .As you enter the magnificent auditorium you already feel transported to another world. The place is so wonderful with all the gilt and red velvet. It is also a great... More
