A very interesting back stage tour in a group of about 20 people and the ROH guide. The guide seemed a bit jaded and at times almost annoyed by our presence. He was very reverential towards any ROH member of staff that we crossed in...More

Usually I have nothing but praise for this venue and the production of Manon was superb, but our visit was affected by the building works on the amphitheatre level. There was no bar or food before the show and a temporary bar in the intervals....More

I have been lucky enough to visit twice in the past 2 weeks. Two entirely different productions which show the virtuosity of the Royal Ballet, the first being the triple bill of Obsidian Tear (Wayne McGregor 2016), Marguerite and Armand (Frederick Ashton 1963) and Elite...More

I’m an occasional attendee and hadn’t been here for a few years. Despite being as high up as one can go, the acoustics were wonderful. And with Opera glasses, the distance from the stage becomes irrelevant. The seats were also very comfortable. Interval times were...More

The quality of the performances makes up for a high ticket price. At the moment areas front of house are being extended/improved. Various areas to eat and drink, or bring your own!

I sat stalls circle right A90 for Carmen and although not central, it was an excellent, clear view. Got fantastic advice from the box office, so I recommend booking through them for expert help. Enjoy!
