- Frankie W2 contributionsWell worth the FeeA very enjoyable tour round Lords. Our guide, Jeff, was full of information, very friendly and humorous. The tour takes just over 90 minutes but you go everywhere you want to, changing room, long room, media centre etc. The tour was thoroughly enjoyable and well worth the £30pp we paid - a tour even non cricket lovers I think would also enjoy. We also happened to bump into ex-England cricketer Mike Gatting which was an added bonusVisited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 18 November 2023

We were lucky enough to get assigned Jeff as our guide, Jeff was so passionate about everything to do with lords and what a credit to the team he is. Thank you Jeff for your your, knowledge and humour throughout. We loved every second. Louise and matthew from SunderlandVisited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 19 November 2023
- SonySingapore, Singapore3 contributionsA Day to Cherish ForeverIt was an emotional and unique experience for us - a journey by time machine way back to 1983 when Kapil Dev had created history on this very ground. Within a span of two hours, our tour guide, an extremely amiable and pleasant personality, covered the history of the place and touched upon the memorable moments created at Lords. It was an experience beyond dreams when we walked through the corridors and sat in the dressing rooms which have been frequented by stalwarts. Adequate time was given to take photos at different venues to relive the past and cherish the present. As we scanned through the names of players drafted for their remarkable performance(s) at Lords, we went through a roller coaster of emotions and realised how fortunate we were to be a part of this immersive experience. The tour ended with the buying of souvenirs, clinging onto the golden memories.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2023

Tour starts in museum which is full of amazing cricket history and the crown jewel The Ashes urn. Then you are guided to different parts of the ground including dressing rooms , long room, media section and many different views of this iconic sporting venue. Tour guides Tom and Jay were amazing and managed to make my non cricket fan wife have a great experience. Brilliant tour.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 31 December 2023

Very informative and allowed people time to take images. He was an absolute star. You will see the museum, the long room, both changing rooms, grandstand and media area. - ianc3710Crawley, United Kingdom22 contributionsIf you love cricket you will Love this tour. This was brought for me as a Christmas present, we had tickets for the guided tour (Gladstone Small) and a tour guide (an Australian lady (forgot her name which is a shame)) with lunch in the players dinning room, We started in the museum and Gladstone turned up at 1030 and talked through some of the exhibits we then toured half of the ground including the players dressing rooms committee room (where Douglas Jardine presented the ashes to the committee after the famous Bodyline series) and the world famous Long Room Both our tour guides were very informative with Gladstone adding lots of funny story's of his life playing for England and his time at lords. The dinning room experience was great the food to die for, again some funny story's from the catering manager and what she has to deal with, with the demanding players. Finally a visit to the media centre again very informative. I would say overall all the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and although not cheep as a cricket lover was a magical experience and one of the best days out I have ever hadVisited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 April 2024
- Bob_the_cat13Cairns, Australia291 contributionsA must do for any cricket fanRecently did the tour of Lords which was fantastic. Jamie was our guide and he was exceptionally knowledgeable and likeable chap. As an Australian there was a lot of banter about the recent Ashes tour and certain events of the Long Room. To visit the Long Room, the dressing room and balconies was just amazing. Seeing the original Ashes and other memorabilia in the museum was fantastic, very limited displays of the Women’s game though. If you aren’t lucky enough to catch a game here, this is a must do for any cricket fan passing through LondonVisited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 1 May 2024

We went on the tour of Lord's with an excellent guide. It look over one and a half hours but time flew. Before we started we had time to visit the museum. I would have liked to be able to spend more time here because many of the exhibits merited further study. We visited the Long Room (which is very long), the players' changing rooms (surprisingly old fashioned), stood on the small balconies (very small) and had a good overall view of the ground including the substantial work going on at the other end of the ground to replace the Compton and Edrich stands. I hope they've finished the first phase by August 1 because we have tickets for day 3 of the Pakistan test! Our Australian-born guide was a fount of information and stories and made certain that there was plenty to interest our mixed group of nationalities (SA, Australian, Indian, Pakistani, English). A really enjoyable visit and highly recommended even if you are not a dedicated cricket fan.

We took this tour in March, 2020, which off-season in the UK. Stadium was going through some construction but it still looked amazing. Even my wife is not a Cricket fan (she’s American), she had a great time, learning the history. In the tour, you can see the museum, go to the dressing rooms, VIP areas, including iconic Long Room. What blew my mind was some outstanding portraits inside. Our guide was very knowledgeable and that helped us to learn some amazing facts. I have been die-hard cricket fan since I was a kid, but this tour is great for anyone. Even if you don’t know much about cricket, you could enjoy the tour. After the tour, we went to the gift and bought some. Gift shop is small but they do have some quality stuff at a reasonable price.

Loved it!
Day two of the South African Test, great seats, well organised entry, very helpful stewards.
Only one downside, you can't get get a decent head on the ale from the bar.
But apart from that, well done everyone!

If you love Cricket, this tour is an absolute must! Our tour started at 14.30 and we sadly left the Ground some 2 hours later.
We started at the Museum, the amount of truly historic items could keep you entertained for hours before moving on to savour the unbelievable privilege of being in the Longroom, home and away dressing rooms (where the honours board are located), the Media Centre and concluded with being allowed pitchside seats for the conclusion of informative tour.
Our fellow Lancashire tour guide was funny, informative and knowledgeable about everything to do with Lords and the time literally flew by. Thanks to all involved…it was a great day that surpassed, by far, my expectations.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our 1 and a half hour tour of Lords. Our host, John, was brilliant, showing great empathy with our "international" group, as well as being informative and humorous. Having had some initial time before the tour started looking at the exhibits in the museum, John took us to key areas around the stadium, including both dressing rooms and the media centre. As the ground was being prepared for the men's Ashes test match, understandably we were not allowed on the field of play; and, as had been advertised on the website, due to a function, we were not allowed access to the Long Room to take the batsman's walk from the dressing room to the pitch. Neither detracted from our positive experience. Thank you, John !

Lords tour and dinning experience in the players dinning room, what a fantastic 3 hours for any cricket lover, and even those with little cricket interest. Very knowledgeable guide who took the tour around all parts of the ground, including The Long Room, players dressing rooms, media centre, scorers box and inside the Museum. The food served in the players dinning room was excellent, 3 courses plus wine, beer or soft drinks.
Couldn't recommend this day out enough.

What a fantastic day we had . The atmosphere was electric everyone was so welcoming. We had great seats with great views. The fireworks at the start of the matches we a fantastic surprise and the ones at the end of the men’s finals for the the present we’re amazing. Great idea with the disco and the competition’s for the children in between the overs . The cricket was so entertaining and first class and had us on the edge of our seats . It really was a great family day out and great value for money. There are plenty of food outlets to cater for everyone and everyone’s taste. Prices about right. Lords really did think of everything for everyone and what a great competition and really has put cricket up there for entertainment and hopefully will get more youngsters involved with the wonderful game of cricket and get them playing the sport. Can’t wait for next year. There were plenty of toilets all around the ground and water stations to refill your water bottles. Even getting out after the celebrations was very easy considering the amount of people there. Thank you Lords for a fantastic family day out at a truly fantastic place. Britain should be proud of you 🏏🏏😊😊

Excellent , detailed yet entertaining tour of Lord's Cricket Ground. Strange to see the place empty of players and spectators and feel as though we had the entire ground to ourselves. Fascinating visit to the museum, then walk through the Long room and both the home and away dressing rooms, getting to stand on the balconies. We also visited the stands and the media centre. Plenty of photo opportunities. Interesting even for those who are not cricket fans.
Shout out to our tour guide Bob, who made the tour extra special. Fantastic knowledge, answered all questions and quickly established a rapport with each member of the group, coming out with facts relevant to where we came from and our special heroes and interests.
You would probably get the most of this tour by going on a non-match day as we did, as access to the special areas is easier, but do make sure you go back another time to watch a match and soak up the match-day atmosphere.

HI Guys,
we will be in London from 16 sept until 20 Sept and would like to visit the lords cricket stadium. we just want to visit this place and not looking to attend any matches. Please let me know if we can just arrive at the stadium or there are any tickets to be prebooked.

Tours are not run everyday. I would definitely recommend pre booking. I have just looked at their website and their is "limited availability" on some of the days you mention. Hope this helps
