The area
Neighbourhood: Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
How to get there
  • Hyde Park Corner • 8 min walk
  • Marble Arch • 9 min walk

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Hilton Park Lane is honestly amazing. I did leave my belongings in my hotel room and Danny and John (at concierge and reception) are honestly incredible, they provided such great customer service. I would highly, highly recommend staying here - they have such lovely and friendly staff. I cannot thank the team enough!

This hotel cost me a lot of money and ruined my finances, they taken money from my account without permission, in-house reservation doesn’t what they doing specially when handled by Nelizia Almeida (Neli), reception staff doesn’t know what they are doing even when their supervisor came to help and sort out the issue and when I contacted them the duty manager Abdel Elsayeh said to be this all that I went through and the loses , (sorry this human mistake and can’t happen to anyone), how many human in your hotel make mistake and what about the loses and inconvenience occurred to me? I am disputing this with my credit card too as they are not helpful and don’t want to hear anything from you unless if you want book a room and give them money that’s when they friendly, don’t put your self in my position, when else happened to my identity maybe by human mistake?if can’t keep my bank details safe and take money with no authorisation?

For those of you familiar with the traditional UK Monopoly board you will know that Park Lane is one of the the most expensive pieces on the board. In reality it is true as well.

Park Lane runs from Marble Arch South towards Hyde Park Corner. As you head down the road you have Hyde Park on one side and magnificent buildings on your left. There are some posh hotels and amazing buildings for you to enjoy.

If you don't feel up to walking there are buses running along the road as well.

Runs along Hyde Park and home to top end hotels (Dorchester) plus the more expensive end of luxury cars and private jet travel. Nice monuments along the centre medium.

Being on Park Lane is a good central point for you if you are trying to get around some of the major shops in London it’s close to Hyde park and has many top hotels along this road too.

Excellent gallery. Brilliant shopping. Lovely surroundings. Kings Road. Sloane Square etc. Lots of places to eat. Excellent department stores. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Seeing the tutankhamen exhibition was just the chance of a lifetime. Will definitely visit again.

My partner and I were waiting for our coach and wanted somewhere to sit, lovely area. Beautiful statues and pleasant, peaceful place to watch the world go by.
Free to enter and sit, close to the underground and lots of buses, local to shops.

N.B. lots of wasps this time of year🐝

A good way to see London is to take the public transit. Tickets are 5 pounds (July 2019) and you can take as many buses as you want in a day. Or you can get an Oyster card as well (it will let you take the tube). But the buses will give you the view. The park Lane is a fancy beautiful area, with I am guessing million ponds apto. :)

A long road in central London that separates Hyde Park from The Mayfair area of the city. Up market shops, hotels and of course the beautiful Hyde Park. My office is in Mayfair and so when I stayed over, this is a lovely walk to my hotel
