We toured the royal “apartments” within the Palace, including rooms used by Queen Victoria. We also viewed the wardrobe of Princess Diana, which included many iconic dresses that were worn to various events, and many of which were photographed and seen by the public.

The palace is open 10 to 5 or 6 daily. Due to the Diana fashion exhibit some dates and times maybe sold out. However the Diana exhibit closes near the end of April.

I believe so, yes. I would enter Kensington and ask to go directly to The Diana exhibit.
