Really enjoyed cruising the Thames. Lots of sights to take in on the way. Smashing commentary from a lovely lad on the cruise. He was very current, funny and informative. He made the trip. Cruising gives you another perspective of the city. We did loads...More

We wanted to visit Greenwich and decided to choose water as a means of transport. It was early on Sunday morning at Westminster Pier and not too busy, which was great. Alas a fog had come down so visibility further down the Thames closer to...More

We love travelling down the Thames by boat - so much to see - and with a Rover ticket you can get on and off as often as you like. Good value and much nicer than travelling on the tube!

I really was skeptical. I was. I really disdain touristy things and this, in my opinion, had touristy written all over it. On insistence by my taxi driver, which doubly put my guard up, against my better judgement, I grabbed the first boat of the...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

I believe the scheduled time from Kew to Westminster is just over two hours but that schedule is only an estimate. They may be delayed due to other shipping.

The one way fare from Kew to Westminster was 13 GBP per person. You can buy your tickets at a booth at the Kew stop.
