We have been to London many times but never to Somerset House, where the Courtauld Gallery is housed. This gallery was a real treat, with a beautiful collection of Impressionist paintings. If you enjoy art, you shouldn't miss a visit here.

The collection is small but impressive. The morning we went it was not crowded and you could study any painting for as long as you liked. If you haven't been there before, I would recommend it.

Really enjoyed this gallery. Good value for money. Easy to navigate. Enjoyed 2 hours here viewing Van Gogh, Monet Kandinsky and many other great artists. There's also a great terrace bar.
