Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is more a collection of quaint shops than a market and over the years has been sanitized. There are restaurants, book shops and gift shops. Probably worth a walk through but not really a destination in itself.

A lovely collection of small restaurants, cafes and boutique shops in a warren of streets. I'd met an former colleague for lunch on a very comfortable Italian restaurant. Not too expensive at all.

I have posted a review of restaurant we used when visiting this week and it was great but the area around is in need of a good tidy up - I used to work up the road so know the area well it’s a great place for a beer or a bite to eat but please tidy it up it’s a shame to see it like it was this week

Lovely here, reminds me of Rose Crescent in Cambridge. Lots of great bistros, a vibe halfway between Mayfair and St Tropez.

In the heart of Mayfair, just of Curzon Street.

Definitely a hidden gem, lots of restaurants & pubs that retain a by gone days feel.

There is even an Iranian restaurant!

The village-like area around Shepherd Market still has something of a colourful reputation. It was round the corner at 9 Curzon Place that Cass Elliot (Mama Cass) of The Mamas and Papas died in July 1974, and, four years later, Keith Moon, drummer with The Who, died of an overdose. In the 1980s Shepherd Market was where politician and best-selling author Jeffrey Archer met the prostitute Monica Coghlan, an encounter which he tried to cover up in a court of law, and which eventually led to his imprisonment.

Well worth a visit & search out!

In the Mayfair area of London, this small square is a flashback of old London. Several pubs, a somewhat more modern restaurant, small shops and stores seem hopelessly out of date, but provide charming surroundings for a very pleasant lunch, dinner or just drinks on the square. it is connected by small alleys to the main parts of Mayfair, and it is within a block of one of the main thorough fares.

Lovely spot in London - very central, 2 mins from Green park, yet quiet. Offers a variety of boutique shops, restaurants and pubs. Nice over weekend - doesn't look like many Londoners know this spot!
