Brilliant fun. I fitted in a trip with my 17 year old daughter and her friend on a recent trip to London. Finding things that excite and entertain them is increasingly difficult but this did and more. We booked the hour long tour which was long enough for the major sites in central London plus a good stop at the... More

As part of my 50th birthday celebrations I booked six minis to collect 14 people from Galvin at Windows after lunch, taking us to Charlotte Street Hotel with a one hour tour of London on the way. This was a surprise for my guests who had no idea we were being collected in the minis until they came down from... More

We were part of a tour that transported us all in 6 minis from one hotel to another as part of a special birthday celebration. The tour around London including a visit to the Banksy Tunnel was a great break after our lunch and the pre-cursor to a private screening of "The Italian Job" to round off the celebrations. The... Sent our Moms on the Holiday Lights tour and they loved it. Small Car, Big City is the perfect non-tourist tour. You learn about what you are interested in, the ride is comfortable, and fun!

Borderline unbeatable value. The ride was incredible for a first timer going to London. Saw all the major sights, learned some of the more important stories and zoomed around in a unique Mini Cooper vehicle. Highly recommended!

My daughter and i went on a christmas lights tour in Rosie the red mini with Howard as our guide. Howard was very funny and certainly knew how to show us a good time. He took us around all the lights of London with the roof open so we could get a better view. Occasionally we were going quite fast... More

5 people, two Mini's, and 1 day to see London. If you have just one day in London and aren't quite sure what to do, Small Car/Big City is the the way to go. Our drivers, Tom and Sam, expertly chauffeured us to all of the major attractions as well as the lesser know sites that allowed us to truly... More

We spent the afternoon being driven around all the really interesting places in London and it was brilliant. The knowledge and stories were fab. We went to the graffiti tunnel, food markets, down the back streets and to secret locations you wouldn't usually see. An unusual but brilliant way of seeing London and learning about it's hidden treasures and history!

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
