I had expectations of seeing many more large weird and wonderful exhibits and I was severely disappointed with this attraction-not much wow factor. I took my 10 yr old neice and 12yr old nephew. They enjoyed it but again not "wowed". Had I paid for the tickets rather than use Tesco vouchers I would have been very disappointed as this... More

The first thing you'll perhaps not believe is the door price of £28 pp. Inside it's quirky and has some interesting things to see. However compared to other museums such as Natural History, Imperial war, Tate Modern, London Science I can't see the allure. Perhaps it's more orientated to engage children, but I'm not sure. That being said the mirror... More

As a collector of the books (all of them) I have been keen to go for many years, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area or even just near. I killed hour or so, it's interactive so kept other half amused who's not interested in anything like this. If buy pictures they take you get money off... More

Our 15yr old son begged us to take him. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this, it's not cheap but we had fun and we didn't have to line up.

We visited Ripleys with our daughter's family. Plenty for the grandchildren to see and do there. It took around 1 1/2 to 2 hours to go through the whole thing. On entry you take the lift to the top floor then follow route guidance downwards eventually leaving via a "retail opportunity". I think everyone enjoyed it.

Son had been here before with a birthday group and found the displays interesting but the laser quest at the end really great fun, so wanted to visit again. Afraid to say the ticket booth staff were shockingly rude and the visit as a whole didn't get much better. The mildly interesting "strange but true" exhibits and info are abundant,... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
