Big old station

This is a massive train station. With trains going all over the UK and local services across London. It has free toilets to use, free seating.Various places to eat and drink, a WH smith's, bookshop and other shops. Worth noting a sainsburys just outside is a cheap place to get something to eat.it also has Drummond Street nearby with authentic South Indian food. Has a bus station and extensive tube station.

Worst ever taxi rank, avoid.

The taxi rank at Euston is a complete and mysterious farce. Passengers are given no indication as to which queue to stand in. Drivers get frustrated and cross. Passengers get cross. Surely the Wizard of Oz who runs the station can arrange to have the taxis in one rank with one queue for passengers? Or maybe he or she doesn’t give a hoot?

We came to Euston station to catch the Caledonian Sleeper, and found out when we arrived that no other trains where running over the bank holiday weekend, so we had the station to ourselves for a few hours.

Great customer service

I had to do a long journey from Torquay to Northampton recently, obviously we are in the middle of a pandemic as if travel needed any help being stressful. I’m not usually a person who leaves reviews often regardless of negative or positive feedback unless exceptional. And this is one such case, I was tired nearing the end of my journey when I was making my way from the underground to the overground Euston service I was loaded up with my belongings when a member of staff stopped me and asked where I was going and asked if I needed help o said that I was making my way to my platform. He insisted (not in a pushy manner) that he could take me and my belongings on his golf-type cart to the platform, saving my struggling and truthfully my feet!! He explained straight away that this is a free service and that he was more than happy to help and it wasn’t any trouble. The cart said that it was mobility and I explained that I am not registered disabled but he said that as a member of the public he was happy to help me. I will also be mentioning his name to customer services it was late and he was eager to do his job well.

Euston keeping us safe

Since the beginning of the covid19 pandemic, I have needed to travel to visit my elderly parents for carer responsibilities. I've found the station always clean, well staffed with friendly people, and I really appreciate that the toilets and take away shops are open. This has made an incredible difference to my visits. I feel you take this virus spread seriously. I wish tfl would take note! Thank you and well done!!!

My husband had eye op which meant he had no sight whatsoever and had to be guided by me. As we arrived at the station we were approached by a very kind member of staff offering assistance. He took us to the disability office where we were driven right in to the train ahead of everyone. Very kind and caring staff. Thank you!

The worst customer service

I have never experienced such rude service or people . I was travelling to Liverpool and bought my ticket in good timeand went to go and get on the train and they told me I hve the wrong ticket and the one I need is for the faster train even though it did not say that when I bought it on the machine . Normally in my experience if you do something like that you just pay extra when you get in the train and upgrade your ticket but fine no. Got told to go to the ticket office to get a refund . There was no one in the queue so I ducked under the rope queue and got shouted at by the ticket office seller . Got to him and he said I could not get a refund and had to go elsewhere to the other side of the station . Arrived there and the omen treated me like the worlds biggest idiot and printed out the time train I need to get on with that ticket . I then realised she had given me the wrong advice so went back and said I just wanted a refund on that ticket and I’ll sort it out myself and just buy it on my phone . She then said if I come back for assistance she will charge me a ten pound admin fee . Everyone has been absolutely unhelpful and rude as well as giving incorrect information . You would think with times like this people are more understanding and emphatic.

This station is very chaotic and because of Covid measures there is a lot of places closed so if you need a snack to take with you, you better buy it somewhere else. The info on departure board doesn’t match the online info so you really need to wait until ladt minute

Travelling to preston and was given the wrong information about which platform to go to so missed my train. Because i had pre_booked the ticket i had to putchase another one. Both the lady that i complained to and someone called paul the manager were really unpleasant to me and made me feel very humiliated and upset. I am a nurse and there is no way that i would treat my patients like this it was disgusting

Easy to find your way around no hassle

Excellent communication on the notice board of when and where the trains were going, how much capacity there was and if they were on time, a very pleasant experience
