Two Paddington Bear stories were narrated and the BBC Symphony Orchestra played appropriate music. It was fabulous - loads of children there and all extremely well behaved. Concert hall has excellent acoustics and seating is well spaced and very comfortable. An enjoyable afternoon.

Surprised that this is only the second review of this concert hall since it opened - assume that they must be hidden somewhere else because this small hall seating about 600 is a gem. The acoustic is warm and everything is heard with great clarity...More

Technically, the concert and theatre venues here are part of the nearby Barbican arts centre, but they are in a separate building with their own box office and bar facilities. They are in the building also occupied by the Guildhall School of Music and Drama,...More
