Chris Walsh and Black Cab Tours are winners. Chris could not have been any more welcoming and helpful during our short stay in London. He was fantastic, informative, kind and courteous. My wife, daughter and I appreciated his tour and insight as to what we were seeing. His knowledge on the tour was very broad and his recommendations for restaurants and other things to do in London were very helpful. He even went out of his way to make sure he took us to catch our train to Edinburgh 2 days after our tour! Thanks Chris, for all you did for us to make our stay in London as easy as possible!

Journey back to Virginia Water. This was a wonderful trip & the historical additions were both unexpected & wonderful. We will not hesitate to use you again.

If you are thinking of coming to London book your tour with Richard Karby. Our experience was a 5 out of 5. Getting a tour with Richard was the best decision ever! He knows a lot of history of the city and knows the ins and out of places to see. He picked us up from our airbnb and we did 5 hours touring the city of London. We got to see many of the major landmarks like Westminster Abbey, Clarence house (royal residence), Big Ben, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Temple Church, and the House of Lords. He also showed us around places we didn’t even know existed like the oldest barbershop in London, the place where James Bonds hats were made, the old Texas embassy and so much more. He even took us to his favorite Italian restaurant Sapori an Italian restaurant that doesn’t need reservations to be seated. Food was good and very well priced. He made sure to take us to all of the places on the list we shared with him and included other significant locations as well. He gave us time to go inside places like Westminster Abbey and didn’t rush us. He also accommodated our request to drive past some football stadiums in London. His prices are very reasonable for a private tour! Also, the fact that he is a taxi driver gives him so much more freedom to park places not everyone can. Richard is friendly and considerate and he’ll make sure you have a great time exploring London. Give Richard a try, you won’t regret it.

This was by far the best thing we did! We scheduled a 4 hour tour with Chris that was amazing. He asked us questions about what we wanted to see and what we were interested in and he hit it out of the park! This is the best way to see a lot in a short period of time. We only had 4 days in London and this helped with what we could cross off the list and what we wanted to go back to. I would absolutely recommend the Black Cab Tour of London! Thank you Chris for an amazing morning.

Black Cab Tours of London
We highly recommend Black Cab Tours of London after an incredibly comfortable and fascinating 10-hour tour with Chris Walsh, our driver and guide. We were so thrilled with the way Chris accommodated our atypical plan for the day. This was a once-in-a-lifetime trip for us, so getting the royal treatment meant so much. He brought us to the UK “sister town” of our birthplace, Amesbury Massachusetts and went out of his way to fulfill our requests for photos on location. He was patient with us as we took our time exploring Salisbury and visiting the cathedral there, and then went over and above to get us to Marlborough, the town from which our direct ancestors left for America in 1635. He made sure we didn’t miss an opportunity to stop and visit Stonehenge on the breathtakingly beautiful countryside route. Whatever your desires or interests, we’re sure Black Cab Tours of London would tailor and enhance your tour, making the most of your precious time. Thank you, Chris!

Chris was fabulous. We were a party of 5 wanting a quick, highlight tour of the sites of London. He tailored our 4 hours perfectly, beginning with the hotel pick-up and ending with a drop at an Indian restaurant in the Covent Garden area that he had recommended (which was wonderful). He was knowledgeable and very personable. He was quick to respond to our queries and adeptly handled in-flight adjustments to our tour, like a trip to Abbey Road. Can't recommend Black Cab Tours highly enough!

I booked a 3 hour tour for an 80th birthday present for my parents and I’m so happy I did. My parents haven’t stopped talking about what an amazing afternoon they had. Chris was their tour guide/driver and he couldn’t be friendlier and was extremely knowledgable about the sights of London. The tour was well planned out taking in the famous sights as-well as the not so famous. My mum had her own requests too as she wanted to visit the areas she had fond memories of from 60 years ago when she worked in London. Any request wasn’t an issue for Chris, he clearly takes a lot of pride in making sure his customers feel comfortable and have the best personal experience they can. If you’re considering booking with Black Cab Tours then I cannot recommend them enough. What better way is there to see London than from your very own private London black cab with the wealth of knowledge that’s provided by your very own London cabbie. Thank you to Chris for giving my mum an 80th birthday she won’t forget.

I booked the Harry Potter Tour for my family (our 1st time in England). Chris was awesome! Took us to many sights from the movies and let us get out, to take pics. Very knowledgeable of not only the movies, but of London. Great conversations. Highly recommend!
