Unlike its Stratford branch, the original Westfield has a special wing, The Village, devoted to 30+ luxury brands like Louis Vuitton and Prada, plus the usual mall staples, restaurants, and a cinema.

Better to visit on the weekdays
Jul. 2021
I recently went to Westfield with my friends.
Due to being situated in London, obviously, parking price can be a bit expensive.
I would recommend going during the weekday, as during the weekend (I went on a Sunday) shops can be crowded and due to the new covid protocols, there can be queues.
The food is nice, although if you are visiting at peak times during the weekend, there is a bit of a wait! I would recommend the IndiGo restaurant. The chips was lovely.

Due to the effects of covid, some shops have closed, but I expect in a few months time there will be more shops to offer. There is still so much choice: from bookshops to clothes shops, you will be covered!

Never shopping there again

Zara needs to rethink management!,

I had my kids with me and wanted to try some clothes on them to see if they fitted, the kids fitting rooms was closed so a staff member told me to go and use the men’s fitting rooms so I did and when I got there another staff member asked why I was here and not in the kids fitting rooms to which I explained it was closed and I was told to come to this one, she let me in, whilst my kids was trying on the clothes I had someone outside the fitting room saying excuse me a few times, I opened the curtain to which he introduced himself as the manager, he was now also asking me why I was in the men’s fitting rooms instead of the kids! (Well if I was a manager in a store and the fitting rooms was closed in a certain department I would know about it especially as the lady told me they are shut because of the covid and that they are only using the other fitting rooms) I had to explain this to him several times which he was clearly not understanding, I felt like I shouldn’t of been in the shop I had all the staff members going against me when all I was trying to do is shop in a shop that I have been in and brought from over the years, it’s not my fault that the staff members don’t communicate and I feel like I was minding my own business and I had Zara staff starting on me when communication is key and if the fitting rooms were closed then I expect the manager to know, this started a massive argument in store between me and the manage and security got called for the manager to turn around and start telling me he’s a rapper! Why on earth would I want or even care about that, seriously Zara sort it out!

Quiet at 10am on warm Monday
Jun. 2021
We had a pleasant shopping experience visiting at a quiet time with no crowds. Parking - if you use the John Lewis car park it is a very winding track to the top and then no stairs from the top floor - go down a few levels if you prefer to use stairs. Good selection of shops and restaurants.

The car park is very expensive and feels like Westfield is more interested in profit than to help people enjoy their outing. 1 &1/2 hour cost me £8.50.

Even if you just want to visit one particular shop then leave, makes you not want to return there again.
Good luck Westfield, I will try to stick to my high street and not get robbed.

No wonder visitors are deterred from going to an over priced labyrinth sort of a place. High rents, puppets as security officers, and sad looking sales assistants wishing they were dead.

We had a great day shopping here. It was a weekday and not too busy. Very friendly staff and the same in all the shops of which there was a great selection. Signage, toilets and facilities all excellent. Very clean.

Westfield Gift Card
Jan. 2021
I very generously received a Westfield Gift Card for Christmas, which was purchased online. After numerous attempts trying to contact the relevant person, I eventually got through to someone at flex-e-cards who provide the card and was told that it wasn't possible to use the card online! As no shops are currently open for the next two months (or possibly more) and the shop wasn't open at the time of purchase, I think it's shocking that this was not make clear to the purchaser. If you buy a card online, you expect to be able to use it online. When I asked her what my options were, she said the only option is to get the amount refunded to the person who purchased it but they have to call and await a return call (basically, a very long winded route!)

I'm surprised and disappointed to hear that Westfield is so behind the times and has not adapted particularly considering the current limitations and requirements. I wanted to use the gift card towards a new washing machine from John Lewis as mine has broken in the middle of the national lockdown, but to no avail!

The customer service person was completely disinterested in my call and was unable to tell me which retailers would accept the card either. I'd therefore strongly advise anyone wishing to purchase a Westfield gift card to think otherwise.

RUSHED & UNCLEAN
Oct. 2020
Visited Byron for lunch in the middle of the week. Was busy but we did not enjoy the meal, it came cold, looked rushed, the salad looking worn. The worst bit of the lunch was we felt extremely rushed by a very aggressive unprofessional table waiter. When we had just finished our burgers our table was started to be cleared while we still hadn't finished our fries and wine. There was food on the floor, dirty tables! NOT what i call an enjoyable experience!

Shopping day

Amazing experience from food to coffe to shopping. You can find all the kind of shops with different targets. The concept of the traffic light as well as the branded shops is the one which makes the difference. I will go back sure
