A lot of places to eat and drink and many shops to spend time on finding reasonably priced cloths, old records or anything nice.

Went because a lot of the restaurants and food shops were serving outdoors. They had stalls with seating outside showing off their wares. Great atmosphere and it was a very sunny day, ideal weather. Very busy but you could browse easily. Fab.

An interesting street of mostly independents. Plenty of quirky shops to browse. It's also overflowing with cafes of every type.

Liverpool has a professional beggar problem, and Bold Street especially so. Having said that, if you're willing to walk around the piles of dirty blankets, there are many cool restaurants, bars, and shops there. Well worth a visit.
