recently retired and looking for a place to go for a walk... hit jackpot first time... it's huge park with variety of trees and large lake.. wildlife includes squirrels.. various birds including parakeets.. yes parakeets 😊😊. also has cafe/ ice cream parlour and decent toilets.....More

Incredible building and free to go in. It’s full of some magnificent rare plants reaching up to the ceiling. There is disabled access via a ramp and plenty of space for wheelchairs and prams. Outside of the building are many statues from Columbus to Peter...More

This was my first visit to The Palm House and I thought it was lovely. The plants and flowers were beautiful and The Palm House is very well maintained.

A really fantastic renovation that enhances Sefton Park. Some of the interior remains the same as it was fifty years ago.

Great to see the palm house all restored - was such a mess for years. When I take people around Liverpool this is on the have to do list. Not obvious to so many and it really is a gem and the contents are superb....More

Made a casual visit recently.Free entry but box at entry recommending £2 donation. Lots of lovely exotic tropical hothouse plants but a bit lacking in descriptions. Also a shame you cannot climb the spiral staircase to the viewing platform because of health and safety reasons....More

You should contact the palm house directly. But I know that it depends on the time of year. You can hire the venue from about £2700, rising up to about £5000 for peak season (April to September I think). That does not... More
