Nice old backstreet pub which is clearly a favourite of locals. Good ale, friendly and knowledgeable down to earth bar staff and good prices. This old pub has interesting decor in an understated way. Well worth a visit.

My favourite pub in Liverpool for many reasons. Just to name a few; Jack behind the bar is true gent. Methodical when it comes to his work - he makes sure that you get a decent pint or a top notch G&T. Plus he likes...More

I was promised a gin heaven, I was offered a urine stinking hell hole. Don't go here unless you have a peg on your nose!
