Took my dog here for a little walk around and he loved it! granted it was pretty quiet at the time when we went so he was able to run about a little without bothering others. Would recommend for picnics on sunny days!

Sitting on a bench in front of the lake on a sunny day you wouldn’t know you are in a city. The lake has swans and fishing and is surrounded by pleasant shrubbery. The wide expanse of grass behind separates Anfield from Goodison. New running...More

It is a small park, but it is extremely beautiful and totally worthy a visit if you are in Liverpool.

Liverpool spent a lot of money rescuing and restoring this park, and in my view, it was money well spent. There is a very impressive glasshouse with a good cafe on its ground floor. It is called the Isla Gladstone Centre. Outside is a very...More

A really beautiful place to visit, located between the two soccer stadiums Goodison Park and Anfield and that is how I found it.

Located between Goodison Park and Anfield. Good ornamental gardens, shame the boating lake no longer has boats for hire (progress I suppose). Large children's play area. good for a family day out. Visit the café under the Isla Gladstone Conservatory. The red sandstone wall was...More

Yes there is a snack bar with inside/outside seating with what appears to be a good range of food and drink including alcohol. Also a large bar/ restaurant above that with more restricted opening times.
