Sefton park really is beautiful all year round. You have woodland, open space, a large lake where you can hire a pedalo in the summer and two cafes. There is an abundance of wildlife and birds including woodpeckers, parakeets along with numerous tits and finches. The lake has Canada geese, swans, moorhens and coots. I saw a crested greebe a... Spend a few hours getting lost around wonderful woodland, beautiful lakes, entertaining wildlife and dog walkers! A great escape from the rat race!

I grew up near Sefton Park, it was my playground when I was a child, I still love going to this park, I never tire of it, I take my grandchildren there now, and they love it.

This is a beautiful park full of lovely walks,a splendid lake,two fantastic cafe's. It's nice to walk round on the coldest or the hottest day,they also have festivals throughout the year

I moved to Liverpool as a student in September and I enjoy going on regular runs and walks around Sefton park! It's a very scenic park and lovely to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city.
