Nice location for visiting on a sunny day whether for a picnic or for out door recreation. Great view over the River. Plenty of parking spaces.

Park up anywhere from Aigburth to the Pier Head and have Pleasant walk of up to an hour, past Festival Gardens, maybe visiting the Otterspool or Brittannia Stonehouse Pizza And Carvery Pubs

These days you can walk or cycle to Otterspool from the city centre in more or less a straight line along the riverside promenade. It is safe and there's enough of interest to keep you going for miles - a good value pub, the festival...More

On a lovely clear day you can look across the river Mersey and see so many buildings on the other side. You can take a leisurely stroll along the prom itself or hire a bike and peddle along there. Just watch out for the pedestrians!...More

No camping in Otterspool or anywhere in Liverpool as far as I know. Sue
