We sat on a bench but it was surrounded by detritus left by people who do not value this green space. But we... More

A lovely quiet victorian style park, surrounded by large houses. A lovely place to walk and relax. You hardly ever see anybody - just a few dog walkers. Pleasant and quiet - no real photo opportunities, though..

Great big open space with plenty of greenery and lakes and fountains for a nice chilled day out and if you also get the chance to do a paranormal night at newsham park I'd recommend it as you get to see a great historical building and all the history that I'd behind it like the fact the white star shipping... I have lived near this park all of my life, played footy, cricket, tennis and jogged in it. It provides our green lung as a counter to the pollution in an inner city area. Plus on a sunny day it can look stunning . Always good to see people using all of its free facilities, especially the school kids on... More

It's good to see more activities to do in the park, from kids swings to the new skateboard park to the fitness equipment . Plus cricket on a Sunday . Fab. But the potholes and the paths need attention and a few more benches would be good.

A beautiful park with lakes and kids play areas. Can't think of a better way to walk off a night on the beer and takeaway. I recommend having a walk around sunrise, the noise from the ducks is lovely.
