Worth a visit even if you're not an art critic!

This is worth a visit even if you aren't a big art fan. It is also in a nice area to sit outside for a cup of tea, or a meal and a drink

Having visited Tate Modern in London many times wanted to see other exhibits. Tracy Emin bed has still not been made up !! William Blake exhibition was worthwhile however but other specimens exhibited left me pondering !!!

Didn't stay long. Majority of it was things like a framed suit, a black canvas, bits of material stuck down like a toddler would do but with a paragraph of pretentious introduction. Nearly all absolute rubbish. I had to see it to realise how bad it was. The emperor's new clothes.

We popped into the Tate gallery as it was close to our hotel. He staff were friendly and helpful, but we were not impressed with an of the exhibits.

This is a very interesting museum situated on at the Albert Docks. I spent a very interesting 1 hour in this Museum before continuing around the corner to the Maritime Museum which is also great. I fact the whole of the Dock area is a must visit.

Smaller than expected, but filled with interesting art works from all over the world. Great that it's free!

Another wonderful visit to the gallery. My wife and I have visited liverpool a number of times over a few years and always enjoy a trip to the Tate. This incredible resource of ever changing artwork, knowledgeable staff and quality of environment unbelievably still remains free for all to experience. Whether you like it or not, pieces of work, such... More

Even if like me you don't always understand the vision of some artists it was worth a visit. The descriptions of the work are informative and helpful.
