We were just passing when we noticed they had a free Roy Lichtenstein exhibit, so we stopped by and really enjoyed it. Some great stuff in the gift shop too, and not too expensive when compared to souvenirs from other places.

Loved the exhibition and would happily go again if it was on! Shop and cafe great too. Otto Dix exhibit highlighted an important part of history.

The building was warm and welcoming on a dreary, wet Wednesday and an hour was idled away, including very good coffee. The Lowrey and Modrian on the floor which explored labour was worth a look.

Spell Tate backwards and you have e-tat which is apt as the exhibits resemble tat purchased from ebay. Ok....maybe a little harsh but this place didn't stimulate me in the slightest. I appreciate museums being free in the UK and have visited many museums and...More

Near lots of other attractions, and very roomy. Donation entry is always great, great to see some modern Roy Lichenstein work.

You will need to put aside at least 2-3 hours , The Tate is situated in the Albert Docks which is a great place to locate yourself for the day.

I'm sorry I'm not sure. But I found a place opposite the echo. Other side of the road. Has a billboard advertising Sixt. I think. It was £4 all day. Looks like a dis used hanger but it's great.
