My last visit to the Tate was spoiled a little by the understaffed café; however things have certainly changed. Not only have the café & shop had a reshuffle, making the space much more user-friendly, the team in the café were exceptional. The manager should...More

On the rare occasions that I pass through Liverpool I make a point of spending an hour or two at the Tate Liverpool. The Roy Lichtenstein exhibition was superb. The exhibits from the travelling contemporary art exhibition equally so. Territic stuff. And its free.

We are not generally into modern art, but very much enjoyed our visit here. All the staff were very helpful, but one member went out of his way to help us. We were looking in bewilderment at what appeared to us to be a totally...More

Went to see the Lichtenstein exhibition, which was rather poor, but it was free. How good this gallery is really depends on the quality of the exhibition. The Germany photography exhibition was amazing. The staff were helpful and the cafe very good.

An interesting, modern gallery. The different rooms show a variety of different artists, their inspiration and development over time. This Tate has the freedom to explore new artists, unencumbered by a legacy of "an art collection".

I'm sorry I'm not sure. But I found a place opposite the echo. Other side of the road. Has a billboard advertising Sixt. I think. It was £4 all day. Looks like a dis used hanger but it's great.
