A 15-minute walk from its Anglican counterpart along Hope Street, 1960s' "futurism" best describes the exterior of what's locally know as "Paddy's Wigwam." The huge interiors illuminated by natural light through the exquisite stained glass is worth the journey itself.

Mordern inside and out. The design of the windows gave such a lovely lighting effect, especially with the use of coloured glass. Very well worth the visit.

This splendid cathedral dominates the skyline. Inside is as lovely as the outside. It size and artwork are lovely. A bit of a walk from the city centre but worth it. Attended Evensong but no choir as they were on a post Easter holiday. Good...More

I have no religious beliefs but obviously many people do. 50 years ago a lot of stained glass went into this building which can only be appreciated from inside. This is a Catholic cathedral apparently designed by a Protestant. On the day we visited it...More

This is a very modern building but if you visit on a sunny day it will truly remain in your memory forever. The colours are magnificent, and if you are lucky enough to take a guided tour, you will discover so much more. Highly recommended.

Incredible modern architecture with plenty of small chapels and prayer areas. The whole feeling inside is that of peace and quiet. It's very silent.

Free to enter apart from a £3 charge to visit the crypt, no photography permitted in the crypt ! Cathedral cafe I thought was too expensive.

A wonderful interior with a fascinating exterior - the inside is so open but still retains a feeling of sprituality - visit on a sunny day so that the light streams through the upper windows - it is stunning!
