This was a favorite hang-out for the Beatles and many other rock bands, which also served as a safe haven from their screaming teenage fans.

Ok, so it has history, but it's a fine line between historic and being a filthy dirty kip. So the Beatles may have sat in a corner, that's why we came. But, the place is filthy. Cobwebs outside and inside. The toilets are disgusting. The...More

The place is rather worn and not very clean. But it sure I've with high priced drinks off The Beatles . John Lennon,Paul McCartney,Ringo Start and George Harrison memories. Well worth a stop.

A good laugh with the karaoke providing the entertainment, unfortunately there was a poor selection of draft lager just the Fosters on tap. Reasonably priced and one of the few pubs I'd bother with in Mathew St.

What has happened to the place that gave me so many happy memories in my early twenties? It has only just re-opened and still looks pretty much as it did, never ever any frills, just a solid down to earth boozer in the middle of...More
