Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm sure, if you are a dedicated fan, then this is a great place to visit. We are "interested" - BUT...........this was too much for us and we found ourselves irritated because there was no "quick route" round the exhibition. This was a "not for us experience" - just as the 2 hour "blue badge" guided CITY TOUR had been immediately prior to visiting the Beatles Story........the guide had nothing to say about Liverpool apart from the Beatles - at least we have a 2nd day available to appreciate a wider story

Excellent experience - audio/ visual tour interesting and engaging. Great value for money. Learnt loads!
My 11 year old had a great time and listened and watched everything on the audio tour. Even my 13 year old who wasn't that bothered about going, enjoyed herself (although she'd never admit it!)
Great experience, want to revisit already !
Clear and substantial Covid precautions in place.

Firstly £50 for a family ticket we were expecting a really great display of memorabilia and unknown stories about the Beatles. What we got was a few recreations of places and events that weren’t anything that couldn’t be found on a Google search. If I had paid half the cost I would not have been as disappointed. We shuffled along in a boiling hot underground tunnel looking at small bits and pieces and replicas and came out uninspired. There was more to see at the Liverpool museum for a £5 donation. I would struggle to recommend this to anyone even a massive Beatles fan.

An absolute must for all fans of The Beatles charting the rise of the most popular and famous group in the history of music.
Although many facts about the group are well known there are many other aspects of the rise of the group that will surprise you, price is probably a bit steep but all in all it's great way to spend a couple of hours .
Easy to locate along Britannia Vaults in the Royal Albert Dock complex.

We first visited The Beatles Story 30 years ago, my husband and I being great Beatles fans growing up in the 60s. This return visit did not disappoint, obviously things have been upgraded/updated and it was just wonderful, so emotional too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this fantastic snapshot of history

A story that lets you see the other side of the rumours and media tales. I was made aware of a number of facts that I didn't know.

A bit pricy to gain entrance but worth the trip as your only going to do it once.

This was disappointing. Took 8 year old Beatles fan grandson as a birthday treat. Very little to entertain. No multimedia. No videos of gigs. Little music. Was expecting something much more dynamic. The audio tour wasn't particularly easy to follow and was full of rather dry facts. Nothing interactive. Little to appeal to a young fan. It was also hot and airless. It felt dated and tired. Generally rather dull.

We were really disappointed with this experience. The space was too small for the amount of people going through but the main problem was the lack of real Beatles artefacts on show. Most of the exhibition consists of mockups and recreations

Many thanks for your comments and we very much appreciate all our customer feedback. Our exhibition is an experience where we immersively tell the story of the Fab Four from Liverpool through recreations of the places and moments along their journey with the aim of educating visitors about the world's greatest band. There are a number of key artefacts shown within the exhibition, however these are to add value to the story and not delivered in a museum style. We can get particularly busy on some dates and this is managed through pre-booked timeslots and by our fabulous guest services team. We are continually reviewing our exhibition and take into account our visitor's feedback so we can make future improvements. Thanks again for your review.

Staff so very helpful and welcoming, they are so very proud and seem to enjoy their job. The audio easy to use and very interesting. A good couple of hours and a cafe at the finish of the experience. Would recommend.

An interesting enough visit, but as others have said, a lot of the stuff on display was reproduction. Also the admission charge is too high. However, all in all, Liverpool is a great city to visit.
